I get about 6k miles out of the rear and double that on the front. This combo works well on pavement and off road. It's just a good all around combo if you like riding off road but have to ride slab to get to the good stuff.
About 6,000 miles out of the rear and double that in the front but that all depends on how you ride. I'm pretty heavy on the throttle and I spin the rear a lot of road and accelerate hard on pavement. I know some people get 8-10k out of the rear.
RUclips be pushin’ some Motoz on me. Suggesting various videos, showing ads. Must have accidentally looked at some in RevZilla, or my phone overheard me. They gotta wait til my current tires wear out, though….
The adventure rear shouldn't be discontinued. What size does a KLR run? I'll check to see if it's still available. Can't go wrong with the Rallz though. I'm thinking about trying it next on my 990
@@TheBeardedGrump 130/80/17 I started my whole adventure bike journey with a 2012 KLR 650 last year, it had a kenda big block on the rear and a Bridgestone TW301 on the front. This setup felt great. I wore those out in 6k miles down to the wires… Recently while looking for a good set of tires I found a shop that had a rear only. Needing one I took it, a Shinto 805… I ordered the 804 through eBay and got them both installed. Now, I’m feeling less confident on my bike, and I’m sticking to the pavement more. I hate the front sliding out on me and the rear coming completely around on wet grass and loose pavement. Missouri roads don’t play around, I’m needing the best tire combination I can get… any help and tips is greatly appreciated.
@@ObedYah561 the Motoz Tractionator Adventure rear and Duel Ventura front is the best all around combo I've ran. Pacific Powersports has the 130/80/17 tractionator adventure rear. Just look on their website or give them a call. Tell them I sent you
I've never run the Mitas e09 so I can't say but the TKC80 front is ok but I like the Motoz DV front a lot better. The Mitas e09 looks good. It probably would have great traction but probably wouldn't last as long as the Tractionator Adventure rear.
Do you have the tubeless? I have rallz and dv tubeless on my t7 and no wooble at all. Rum 2,3 bar front and rear. But i have k-tech carhridge kit front and adventure rebuild rear, maybe thats the thing🤔🇸🇪
MotoZ Adventure GPS tires are the worst tires I've ever put on my F800GS. The rear seems ok, but the front is garbage. It doesn't seal on a tubeless rim w/o silicone sealant, it wobbles leaned over under 30mph or so and traction on easy dirt or gravel roads is horrible Very poor confidence. I have one good thing to say about them... they last FOREVER. They have super stiff sidewalls, which compromises feel, but I have 8k+ on these tires and they look like they'll get at least 12k if not more. The Adventure GPS is their most street friendly tire in the Adventure series. There's no much dirt near me, so buying a more aggressive tire is just going to burn out the knobs faster. But given how bad the front is on this, I'm not exactly chomping the bit to try other MotoZ variants.
I've heard that about the front GPS from other people too. I don't have any experience with them because they aren't aggressive enough for my type of riding. I can say I've never experienced any issues with a Duel Ventura front or an Tractionator Adventure rear and I've been through three sets so far.
@@TheBeardedGrump I thought the rear was comparable to the Heidenau Scout, but with slightly better traction on your average hardpack with loose surface forest road hills. I wish there was more dirt in my area, it’s the one major failing for riding motorcycles in my area. This is paved heaven for riding. Any direction, I’m 15-30 months from a great ride. Lots of options. But dirt is hours away.
I've tried a lot of tire combos and this one is pretty close to being perfect for all around adv riding. The Rallz is better off road but not as good on pavement. Every tire is about compromises in the adv world

Rocking this combo now on my T7 🤌
Awesome!!
How many miles will you get from the front and the rear . I would appreciate the information and keep up the good work . Thanks

Been looking at this combo for a while. Currently have the 804/805 Shinko tires. Got 5500 out of the rear. Front still ok.
It's a great combo. I think you would love it

Seems like whenever we think about something we start seeing videos and ads pop up 😂.
The adventure rear was discontinued, rallz rear and dual venture front will be what I put on my klr

Did you have the problem within the first 80km!? My setup Tractionator Adv front and rear is so slippery. Need to get the first milimeter ripped soon
Yes they need to be broken in. I usually ride my bike on loose gravel or deep dirt to break them in faster.
What do you think about Mitas e09 dakar rear and Conti TKC80 front?

Have to try the dual adv. Have rallz rear, luv it.

Correct name is Dualventure, in case you are looking for it online. :-)
I have those on my T7. However, about 7275 miles an hour I do get some speed wobble.

Have you tried the gps? Im in northern MI, curious about the sand.
I haven't. I wouldn't think the gps would be good in sand.

Of course as long as your bike has enough power
Sorry , what's the model name on these tires?
Motoz Tractionator Adventure (rear) Motoz Duel Ventura (front)

Wanted to try the DV but they are nowhere to be found in my country and one I've seen was at a price of two Rallz

There is no best tyre combo for every tyre if rising. Also Motoz Rallz migh be slightly better for offroad traction.
