With such move they almost force Atlanta to start a rebuild process (trade their expensive players) And this process will decrease their winning record which will increase the value of their next draft picks. Obviously if Atlanta start a rebuild without this trade, no need to make it (I’m agree that 4&8 is better than 1)

Vassell, Graham, Clingan, Castle for Davis would be great if Hurley is really going to the Lakers. If Washington wants they can have Sochan in order for Spurs to secure Clingan at 2 rather than 4. I think LeBron Sr. would be with it.
