Well if u start practicing ( and by that I don't mean playing meaningless bullet and blitz games , I mean play 15 or 30 mins rapid games so you actually think and play ) , you will reach as you have good knowledge but poor execution
@@fyroboi2053 you are totally right. I am 900 rapid, but mostly play blitz (500 rated). Today I faced a 1350 in 10 min rapid, was completely dominating, untill my clock started to bother me, then I threw the game away. I got 14 of 15 in this list, missing only the bridge. I put many hours watching and reading about games and the history of chess, and much much less hours into actual play.
The bonus words I think are 1: zwichenzug is inbetween move. 2: Alekhine's gun is the 2 rook and queen combo on an open file 3: Maoczy bind is a setup that white usually has during the sicilian where he places his e and c pawns on the 4rth rank 4: Tarasch's rule is the rule in rook endgame whn you have to place the rooks behind the passed pawn to make it easier to promote. 5: I only know the nimzo indian defense and I feel like nimzo zimbabwe defense was just invented 🤣
1. Zwischenzug is an in-between move, like playing a check before recapturing a piece because you can recapture after your opponent must respond to the check first 2. Alekhine's gun is a special and powerful battery where you line up two rooks in front of a queen to maximize pressure 3. Maroczy bind is a positional pawn formation (often used against the Sicilian defense) with pawns on c4 and e4 to control the d5 square and prevent your opponent from moving much 4. Tarasch's rule is technically non-existent, because it is Tar*r*asch's rule that says rooks belong behind passed pawns 5. Nimzo-zimbabwean defense/attack is a hypermodern opening system for black or white invented by Mortal Chess that remains undefeated in grandmaster play
@Ardahan_75 Zwischenzug tactics are very important and usable, they don't happen all that often but people, even above 2000, blunder them. In a recent tournament I went up a piece against a significantly stronger opponent because he blundered a zwischenzug tactic
The Nimzo-Zimbabwean defence is the only hypermodern opening, or better, the only chess opening in general, which hasn't yet faced a loss in a classical game. Players in the league of Smagnus Scamsen and Mortal Chess frequently adopt it with great results and ruined life for their opponents.
It's still pinned, because moving the bishop does expose the rook to an attack. It just so happens that the pin doesn't particularly help black in that position.
Number 10-A is the Knight Attack. From that position, you can get the Fried Liver Attack, the Lolli Attack, the Traxler Counterattack, the Polaris Defense, or the Fritz Defense, depending on which moves are played. The Fried Liver is specifically this continuation: … d5, exd5 Nxd5, Nxf7 Kxf7, Qf6.
Mine was pretty spot on. I got 14/15 and I'm like 1600. Hypermodernizm got me. I feel like a lower rated player can score high in this test if he watches a lot of chess videos.
1) Zwischenzug, also known as intermezzo, is an inbetween move. 2) Alekhine's Gun is a battery of your two rooks and your queen. Very strong attacking formation 3) Maroczy Bind: a pawn formation that manages to close completely the opponent's access to the d5 square. I don't know the others but the Nimzo Zimbabwean sounds like a joke
1: when you play a move which instead of doing the expected move, you play another move in between, it is called a zwinschenzung, commonly called an "in-between move". 2: idk 3: when two pawns, with a gap of one square, together control a common square in the center, it is called a Maroczy Bind. 4: idk 5: meme or not, it is an opening created by this youtuber where you pull out your rooks to the center and the other pieces follow, creating a solid attack and a pretty good defense despite its looks. It follows hypermodernism too. I got 15/15 on the normal test
Alekhine's gun is when the queen and both rooks are on the same file, Tarasch's rule is that rooks should be placed behind passed pawns to help them promote.
Actually 4.Ng5 is not the Fried Liver - 4...d5 5.exd5 Nxd5 6.Nxf7 is. Hypermodernism doesn't break any chess rule. It simply means initially controlling the centre with knights and bishops iso occupying it with pawns. Depending on the reaction of your opponent you decide which central pawn(s) to play. Just keep playing and what made me go to 2000 was just learning some new stuff cause you just get tricked and lose sometimes in games so I learnt the Nimzo Larsen for white and it works very well and some e4-d4 counter for Black
As a 2050 rated player, I watch your videos sometimes because you are better at explaining chess than most of the titled players with youtube channels!! Even though I already know most of what you say, it's a great way to cement things in my head while getting amused by your humour :D
I've known the first 15 for MANY years now, and for the last five at the end of the video I knew all (infact im a marcozy bind player myself lol) except the fifth one. Quite surprised I have never heard of it
Why the third word option C conveniently has 3 rook and no bishop there which could stop the checkmate and here I was thinking I could use that tactic for the mate but anyway

I wish I was 1800 😅 but I am a 1000 listening to commentators daily... 🎧
I got 13. 15 if we're counting Alekhine's gun and the Nimzo Zimbabwean defense. I have unironically used both to win games.
Tried the Nimzo-Zimbabwean Defense, only works if your opponent doesn't catch you cheating! Unless your playing Fischer 960 random chess it can be done if your opponent is very drunk or high.
btw it's Tarrasch's rule you forgot the double "r" in Tarrasch.
Bro got it practically on point..
You predicted my ELO being 1500 - 1800 when I'm actually 628...
As a 300 Elo player, I see this as an absolute win
9/15, predicted Elo 1000-1200, actual Elo 800
2:13 FIRST DEGREE BATTERY IS WILD
i got all 15 and my rating is 1100
Same bro
Is nobody talking about the fact that he said the answer on number one saying it's a royal fork
Can we get a video on the nimzo zibabwean defense please
6, 15, Tarrasch’s rule|
1400
I got 9/15
I have only 1933 rating how I can reach 2100
Just keep playing and what made me go to 2000 was just learning some new stuff cause you just get tricked and lose sometimes in games so I learnt the Nimzo Larsen for white and it works very well and some e4-d4 counter for
Black
As a 2050 rated player, I watch your videos sometimes because you are better at explaining chess than most of the titled players with youtube channels!! Even though I already know most of what you say, it's a great way to cement things in my head while getting amused by your humour :D
wow that's...man, i appreciate the hell out of that, to think a 2050 can find something of value in my vidz is awesome.
The last is called the philador position no?
as a 300 rated player, I can confirm I'm non-existent but 1500-1800 elo at the same time.
15/15 as a 1200 very easy
In question #1, the knight also attacks the rook 💀💀💀😭😭😭
I've known the first 15 for MANY years now, and for the last five at the end of the video I knew all (infact im a marcozy bind player myself lol) except the fifth one. Quite surprised I have never heard of it
i got 15 but my rating is 900 😢😢😢
the first one so obv he litterally said royal fork
I knew almost all of them and I am at 800 lmao
Why the third word option C conveniently has 3 rook and no bishop there which could stop the checkmate and here I was thinking I could use that tactic for the mate but anyway
only doubted the bridge (14 out of 15). 900 rapid, 500 blitz.
Your guess was 1300 to 1500, but my peak is 984, but when i played non rated practice, stockfish said i played like 1750, still-both outcomes are pretty far off
I wonder which voice changer you use?
i got all 14 correct , and it said my minimum chess rating is 1500 , but im only 300
I always get pissed whenever i remember that Greek Gift has nothing to do with the knight. Like the Trojan horse myth, it would make so much sense for it to be a "lure with something, then make a fantastic knight move" but noo
