The ICJH requested that Israel try its best to be humane but did not demand it cease its military activity, and to supply update reports. But that same Court demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all the hostages held by Hamas and stop launching missiles. Nobody expects Hamas to comply.

Israel must have been complying, otherwise there would have been another big and unnecessary stink at the ICJH. There are no shortage of States prepared to take Israel to Court. But of course you better ask the ICJH themselves.
