It dries up in the winter too.
And now, the next morning, it's raining.
It's normal. Not permanent. It's going to rain again. There was also a time when it rained so much the area flooded. Just a few years ago. The water level was high enough that people were kayaking over the falls. Stop acting like everything is a disaster!

@Rachael Harcus the earth is working exactly the way it was designed. There is a balance. When you have too much of one thing you get less of another. The earth is constantly changing. Animals(including humans) adapt to the changes. When you have less oxygen you have less animals and more carbon dioxide will benefit plants causing them to flourish causing more oxygen. Show me any evidence that Earth has always been like it is now. It will always be changing.
