This is the problem when things go mainstream, people with over inflated egos start getting beside themselves when they get a taste of true fame. Law is feeling himself WAY too much thinking his position as a main judge means he’s the end all be all of ballroom. Forgetting the fact that the two trans women sitting next to him are the reason he was ever considered to sit in that seat in the first place.

She is a legend and she understands what it means now (and what it meant back then), and Black/Latin Trans Women are some of the most discriminated members of this community and we owe them a lot.

It wasnt a dig at all, he was checking the contestants for being rude, that they where wrong to talk to dominique that way, trust dominique would have caught it if it was a dig. Dominique was drunk here anyway, its better to just wave it off, regardless on her opinion there was no need to interupt law to say they arent stunning, it was just unecessary in my opinion
He was addressing the person that told Dom she wasn't that stunning. You don't do that. Especially to a guest judge. That's what he means that Dominique was a guest in this house and you have to respect her for everything she's done. His thoughts would've made more coherence if he reversed the order.

I hope that people realize that ballroom is most definitely like this with Dominique being a good example. while it is kiki, a lot of cis culture or predominantly white gays that perform the art visit these spaces without building yourself from the ground up and try to demand a part of a culture that many trans women have created. I will never understand how escada won over balmain. Balmain gave shock value, gags, production value, all the elements, impeccable fashion and looks, and most importantly a CIRCUS. Escada were a strong second.

Dominique was doing what is done in ballroom and law was probably pissed because that is not how tv is donr (you can't have one judge taking a big chunk of screentime over the rest by going onstage twice in an episode), i am not saying he was right to snap but i am assuming he was pissed by her messing the timings of the show by being "extra" because this is not her show but a show about the competition, if that makes sense.
