- Leiomy, empress of the 360 empire, and her lieutenant Vogue Master Dashaun, are on a rampage to end the No'guing war once and for all. No one can stand in her way, not even Father Ryku and the House of Lyght.
Legendary is a voguing reality competition show that premiered on the subscription-based streaming service HBO Max on May 27, 2020. Legendary showcases the competition between eight houses from the world of ballroom. Each house consists of five members, with each house battling for a chance to win $US100,000 and Legendary status. In July 2020, HBO Max renewed the series for a second season. In June 2021, HBO Max renewed the series for a third season.
DaShaun Wesley plays the role of the Master of Ceremonies, abbreviated MC or emcee, and more specifically the host of Legendary. The main panel of judges includes Jameela Jamil, Law Roach, Leiomy Maldonado, and Keke Palmer. Megan Thee Stallion was previously a main panel judge on the first and second seasons of Legendary.

They either get too nervous for the huge production, or this format just does voguers no good. I wish they reformed it for s4 and just made it true to ballroom, a few categories each ep and 1 representative from each house, then battles and grand prize etc

The show is getting extremely popular, so now regular dancers are putting together houses to get on. BUT JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN DANCE DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN DO BALLROOM!! Lei was frustrated during most of the first three episodes. I want to see Ballroom or I could watch So You Think You Can Dance... A few houses ate, but I'm hoping tomorrow's episode is good.
Right!!! There’s so many new new houses and it’s crazy to me how upfront some are about being dancers who think they can do ballroom instead of people actually from the ballroom scene. Very disappointing and the only house that’s really killing it is from the UK
Something happened with the casting for this season because some of these Houses are sub-par. Father Lyte did an interview with Valery_vision and he claims he was approached to apply. They are just lacking the energy and fire that previous Houses had.
Revlon and Juicy are the only houses carrying

For the first 3 episodes, I really felt underwhelmed. The first two seasons were super gag worthy. Esp season 2 where they didnt even have a live audience.

Leiomy is not happy with the selection of Houses this season. We went from truly iconic Houses to instagram Houses. No shade. Different skill levels is not a judgement on them personally, it's just facts. You can tell she's not living for anyone this season. Seasons 1 and 2 the judges got out of their seats to cheer because every person was dipping and doing incredible floor work.

That’s because that’s exactly where the casting is getting people from. I know some people in the scene who got passed over due to casting choices. They aren’t letting the houses decide who goes.
