No, Bonds didn't start on steroids until years later. 1999 was the first season he played on steroids. He started on Winstrol in the 1998-1999 offseason and gained 15 pounds, but switched to other steroids after an injury that season.
I get reminded how awful Joe Morgan and Jon Miller were especially Morgan. I am sure I’m in the minority on that.
