Dead wrong on the capex to growth driver on amazon when looking forward. Keep in mind ai is going to be extremely transformative for amazon's business going forward. Fewer man hours needed for more deliveries; fewer errors overall so less waste; better organization for less effort; fewer trucks and miles due to better routing and planning. The list goes on and on. I would expect amazon to see the most direct benefit from early ai adoption than most businesses, and especially their big tech competitors.
