- Seriously, what the heck is my friend doing, first he explores the Tower of Quantum Trials without realising that he was in a GIANT TORNADO, and now he finds this randomly?

Reminds me of one video where the eye probe decided to shoot straight at the hatchling when they woke up killing them instantly
yep, happened to my ship once haha
I've only seen the one where the dude is walking to his ship when it suddenly explodes, you can see the probe blur past in one single flame. It was hilarious.

I’d like to think that is canonically accurate at some point out of all the launches, the probe has killed a few Hearthians in a loop.

Imagine this being someone's first ever run
it was my friend's first playthrough but not first run
However during his first run he ended up at the tower of quantum trials so me and another friend of mine watching him were SO CONFUSED
This could be my last play through and I'm still shitting bricks
There's a playthrough out there where someone saw the shadow on the sun in a very early run. IIRC it was the astrophysicist one.
He realized it was weird but couldn't find it a second time until later when he did the DLC.

Gosh, i remember my first loop, i were on starting planet for exactly 22 minutes, and when i sit in ship and just when i left stratosphere, i turned ship to sun and it shrunk and turned into a supernova!
and somewhat that surprised me, no one in playthrough on youtube didnt had something even close to mine, i thought i found a secret or something 😅

dude i was shitting bricks when i was INTENTIONALLY flying into the stranger the first time. this would probably make me jump.
I was covering my monitor with my hands bc I was so scared
I probably would have assumed I was being abducted by aliens or something.
when i found the stranger for the first time it was on accident and i got so scared i was physically trembling. i had to triple check i didnt somehow install any mods (i hadnt even heard of OWMM yet)
This happened to me, but I immediately got terrified (space scares me enough on it's own) and panic flew my ship away and lost it.

I feel ya. I had to play half the game on my Switch Lite to lessen the fear of large spaces and objects
One dude found it while trying to do the giant's deep achievement. Which means he found it while traveling at 6k and ricochet trice off it before his ship exploded. He survived but when he tried to look around while dead ass floating through space in his suit, he couldnt see it anymore

one of my friends, i kid you not, the very first thing they found after going into space was the kickstarter satellite. They were looking at the map and realized at one very precise spot it let them mark a seemingly empty spot. so ofc they headed there first

I didn't know what to do. I wanted to enter to the twin ash proyect but didn't know how to. So i was in Timber Heart just circling the planet thinking how to enter when i found the radio tower (somehow haven't seen it before) i looked inside and when i read about the deep space satelite (or however it is called in English) i wanted to see that. And when i was trying to find it i was very distracted and i chashed head first into it
So yeah thats how i found it

Reminds me of my friend where literally on his first play session he gets the warp right when the sand passes over you straight into the Ash Twin core. It was before I found it myself too so I was spending forever wondering wtf happened that let him in.

Happened to me too. Wasn't my first run but I got stuck in the broken Ash Twin warp tower while the sand storm was approaching overhead, thought "oh no, I gotta get out of that", stepped out onto the warp launch pad and got warped into the core. I'd heard of the Ash Twin Project but hadn't even begun to look for it, didn't even know where to begin. Man I love that game
lol SAME thing happened to me I hadn't figured out the warp pads but stumbled across that ash twin pad because I was trying to take shelter from the sand while exploring. this game rocks
My friend also did this on his first play through, he thought it was the eye 🤣

The way I found the stranger was funny, my general MO when starting a run was to fly straight up in the air and open my map to chart my course. Suddenly huge impact and im shot out of my ship and boom there I am at the stranger

i was terrified when i saw stranger close my view of the sun for the first time, and then it never did it again until i understood how to get it xd
The odds of this are crazy. It’s outside of the orbital plane of the planets, so you have to go out of your way to just fly to the middle of nowhere for no reason, and get lucky.

I would have freaked the fuck out if I'd found this thing accidentally. As it is, I wasn't even looking for the DLC, I was trying to solve the main storyline and I just happened to follow that stuff in the rumors only to discover this thing.
Same thing happened to me. Except I was on autopilot to the deep space satellite so I hit the stranger at full speed before I even knew that it existed

it happens the same to me, i was checking the telescop, then y went to solar station with automatic pilot, and i just felt into the stranger 😅

wtf, i thought the stranger blocks the view behind it in pitch darkness... or was it only the sun?
It has 2 sides. When you come here for the first time you are facing the sun and it gets blocked by the Stranger. It's also really dark (because no sun) and when you enter it's in the dark room with the boat that drops to reveal the halo.
However when you come the other times you are facing away from the sun. So you can see it, it's not dark since the sun is visible and when you enter the Stranger you are in a more conven place.
So basically one side is for spectacle and the other is for convenience, but all that stays lore accurate. Game design masterpiece

Alors... je ne pense pas. J'avais vu un truc comme quoi les devs avaient mis une grande partie du code du DLC pour XBox mais pas sur PC car c'est juste trop facile de cracker/changer des valeurs sur PC

Yeah I wasn't the one playing, my friend was. And we (I and another friend watching him play) were telling him since the beginning to not interact with the DLC until he figured out how to finish the game
@@YoannBB but why? you should just let them explore ngl, and the dlc works great as another planet that you can visit from time to time

However the dlc assumes that you are already deep into the game, as it puts the eye of the universe everywhere and even tells you what it does bRuH
@@YoannBB thats exactly why it fits so well imo, because nothing else does
Its like figuring out things you werent supposed to, thats why the stranger is such a horror mystery thriller kind of place, no one else other than you got to know about its existence, and it works out very well
Plus, its pretty subtle on what it does too, first it just tells you it destroys everything and later you get a painting telling you that it creates galaxies, however the information is never direct and can be interpreted in all sorts of ways (sorta)

I figured (and both of my friends too) what it did before playing the DLC
Anyway, what matters is that in the end he had fun with both the main game and the DLC (and we had some fun watching him do so!)
Stubbling is not a word by the way. The word you are looking for is "stumbling".
