I have the dadalife smile plugin but I don't understand how to select a certain part of the track, as a result it automates the entire track, Iv obviously selected the part of the track I wanted to automate, it then went red & iv automated the bass in the mixer but it still automates the entire track. any help would be sound x cheers x
So the automation continues for the whole project? Or its looks like it's inside the part you wanted but still affects the whole song? If yes then leave a bit of extra space and turn down your automation and after that it will remain at 0 for the whole track unless you extend it yourself

How do you cut up the vocals? Also, how do you zoom in and zoom out on the different tracks? I see you go from 4 beat in the timeline to 30 beats, etc. This is fire.
Sound like "some artist" is the best way to not succeed. The key is find your own sound and luckly have enough contacts so that at some point someone will listen to you. This is why not everyone is in the deejay booth playing on festivals. Anyway, this video is about selling your sound packs, so it is also fine :)

So, viewing it from that point it's all about getting as skillfull as posible in order to create something unique and creative. That's why I created the video; to show how to reverse engineer a certain style to take the key points from it to add to your own skillset. The sound pack is just a tool to get to that certain sound quicker haha:)
