- Dawn police raids on nearly 70 private homes and organisations across Austria in November 2020 shocked waking Muslim communities.
The authorities claimed they were part of an important "anti-terrorist" operation but many believed Operation Luxor was indicative of a growing Islamophobic culture in Austria and across Europe.
This film goes to Austria to examine what happened on November 9, 2020.
The raids may have been a response to a lone attacker who had killed four people the week before. But there is evidence that the raids had been planned for months, so some suggest they were part of an intelligence sting targeting the Muslim Brotherhood and other leading Islamic figures.

A foreigner (Ausländer) in German is someone living outside of the Inland (In - Land, even people who only speak English should understand it) that's someone not living in Austria.
There are people using the term "Fremder" but even among right wing groups that's a no no word they know they will lose votes if they use that term.
I live in the majority right wing group city, funny thing is there are not many foreigners here compared to other big cities in Austria.

It’s obvious these people have lived in Austria a long time, I guarantee you they speak German, their children go to German speaking schools even, they just happen to choose to speak Arabic for this interview, hell, one guy chose to speak English, funny you don’t mention that. I plan to learn Arabic one day, and I’m an atheist, I plan to learn many languages, right now I’m learning Japanese, I’ve also studied Chinese, Russian, and Spanish, despite English being my native language and there not necessarily being as strong of a need to learn other languages, that’s one way we as humanity can learn more about each other, through my language learning journey I have made many friends around the world and gained a broader perspective of humanity, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
