I am excited to see Grady! He has shown so much more growth at the start of the season. His mid-range games is surprisingly good. With all the injuries, Grady can take lead in the offense.
I'm all about the journey and the bigger picture. But it's so frustrating with these injuries...they would conservatively be 3-2 and a good chance at being 4-1 right now. Will this core ever play 20 games together? 😂😭😭
Rome wasn't built in a day. The way the team looks overall is promising, we may have lost a few games but 2 of those were close hard fought games with a short roster against a healthy team, 1 was against the current league leader and another was on a tight back-to-back. I'm not mad at it. Obviously we want dubs right away but for a team the whole world deemed to be "tanking" and "rebuilding" were looking mighty fine and promising. The fact you have green rooks getting enormous minutes AND being productive within those minutes (let alone 2nd round picks at that) is a huge positive indicator. I reckon by mid season, if health is no longer an issue, we'll be hovering around the 8/9 spot and near a .500 record. Trust masai and his vision.
The key to competing in today’s NBA is to take at least 40 three-point shots per game, and this needs to be done in rhythm to maximize effectiveness. It’s not a question of effort, but of aligning our strategy with the modern game, where three-pointers can make or break a team’s success. The three-point shot is a powerful equalizer that can close gaps, set the pace, and maintain pressure on opponents without exhausting players. Right now, we’re wearing ourselves down with a grind-heavy approach while other teams are conserving energy by leveraging perimeter shooting. By the fourth quarter, we’re fatigued, and opponents, still fresh, are beating us to key plays and out-hustling us in the final minutes. Taking more threes in a structured, in-rhythm offense will allow us to compete sustainably over 82 games, and it’s up to the coaching staff to incorporate this shift into the playbook.
Imagine Darko saying “Scottie had a decent game” after dropping 30. …you can’t, it wouldn’t happen. Darko wouldn’t do it with a gun pointed to his head. You can say things like this to your players if there’s a consistent standard but clearly there isn’t. Scottie can do no wrong, everyone else needs to sharpen up - that’s what Darko’s communicating.
Like this if you want to see Gradey on the Rising Stars at NBA All-Star!
Dick has star potential, we need to start talking about him in that light
If he keeps developing his game he could become an exciting player. That dunk was nasty.
he’s a grower for sure

Next level for Gradey is when he starts to learn how to draw fouls. Like James Harden, Kobe, CP3, Derozan.
It's good to see him getting better each other
Gradey is developing much quicker than I thought and I have been saying he thats future guy since day one

Gradey is gonna be the GROAT

100% Gradey is in that rising stars game this year
When’s Ja’Kobe supposed to be healthy? We haven’t seen him at all yet. Very interested to see what he can bring.
It doesn’t matter as soon as jakobe gets back, someone else out of nowhere will get injured, that’s what the raptors are best at
@@damnbeezy7136 who cares? Let’s get the highest possible pick for the next draft.
@@ScarboroughMans I agree
@@damnbeezy7136 Fair enough, tho long term drafting a superstar would be tremendous for the organization. If we can manage that we’re set.
I'm excited to see him as well. Hes another movement shooter

0:05 Gradey Dick's year 2 already better than Gary Trent's whole Raptor career. Lmao. Masai cooked with this one 🔥🔥🔥
0:08 might as well finish inside broski😏

Forgetting about Flagg or Bailey
Aim for drafting a superstar Batman type in this next draft.
@@alexpeters8038 probably one of them too
@@ScarboroughMans I say aim for either a robin or Batman, Scottie might not be him(as in a true 1st option)

This season will be all worth it when we get Flagg, Harper or Bailey. We add one of them to these pieces and we back as a playoff team
