I followed her story and it was heartbreaking....I couldn't imagine how she stayed so strong. I lost my fiance from a massive heart attack back on 2/21/16 it was extremely hard because it happened right in front of me, now I'm just numb. I feel for her.....yes your world falls apart when you lose your love of your life. RIP Nick Amanda and Elvis just know you are loved always

I went to high school with Nick. We didn't have the same circle of friends but he was an awesome guy and I feel so much for Amanda and Elvis for all that they went through with loosing Nick. I have three sons and I can't imagine loosing my husband and having to reimagine my future and having to be so strong when your world comes crashing down. Amanda is truly inspiring and so incredibly brave. I pray for her and Elvis and I pray that Nick is at peace. Such an awful and unfair thing to happen to such a beautiful young family. I am certain though that Nick is still with them and always will be there to watch over them and guide them from above. My deepest condolences to Amanda, Elvis and all their family.

She’s so strong. I lost my father 2 years ago. I saw him die in the hospital bed, he had septic shock. I still can’t get over his death. I miss him a lot. 🥺😢😢 My dad was 83 years.

This is so unfair. I followed her story throughout his hospitalization and I prayed so hard for him to recover, I was so heartbroken when they announced he had died. What a horrible thing to happen to such a beautiful family 😔 Amanda really is the embodiment of goodness and everything pure, you can’t help but feel so so terrible for her
Incredible story. I’m so proud of you Amanda. As I sit here in fear of possibly having a positive test result, this gives me so much hope and joy and positivity that everything is going to be just fine. I’ve tested positive for the flu last evening and the only silver lining for me as well as reminding me how strong of a person I am and that absolutely everything will be OK with time. I adore you and think God for that little boy. He is so precious. We as a nation are so proud of you. I am so proud of you.

Her bravery and love for Nick was evident.Her story was the reason I started taking this virus so serious. Not sure how she remained so strong but his spirit will love on and hopefully people will realize there is plenty of time to vacation later if we help contain this now.Be smart , don't cruise , support each other and find ways to entertain your self without endangering others.

I’m so sorry for your loss. You’ll never understand why he left this world so young but God gave you that little boy so you’d never be alone and have part of Nick always with you. I lost my mom when she was 43. It does get easier but the missing of them never goes away. ❤️
Amanda’s strength, poise and perseverance is nothing short of heroic. She makes you feel like you know her and Elvis and Nick regardless of the fact we’re total strangers. She is lovely and I will always be in awe of her ❤️

I have been through the same situation (my husband died suddenly) and I had 3 children and life does get better with time--but a day does not go by where you do not have that person in your heart. If he were in there, he'd be between British-American mathematician John Horton Conway and Trader Joe's founder Joe Coulombe. Who are you to tell someone how they should or shouldn’t grieve? Whether they should keep to them selves or share their emotions? Who they can and cannot share those emotions with? Both Amanda Kloots and Vanessa Bryant (who I’ve also seen mentioned in the comments) have experienced the most horrific, unthinkable tragedies this year, and you think you are entitled to have an opinion on their emotional response, and share it, when they are at their most vulnerable? Well you are not. Try thinking of it from their viewpoint, that it is not themselves that they are trying to keep relevant, but their deceased loved ones. When people are talking about them constantly, the deceased person still feels close and present. But when people start to move on and stop talking about them, they are gone, they fall out of the consciousness of the public and are left in the past. So, before labelling a grieving widow, parent, child or friend a narcissist, try standing in their shoes and seeing through their eyes before passing cruel judgements.
I blame trump for many, many deaths of the American people because he did nothing about it in the beginning because that’s were it mattered. Oh yes, this is trumps fault. All the way.
