So great to hear! Will especially be interested when you get to the tent stages of this. I’ll be following you closely and looking forward to spreading the word about your business! Such a need here in NZ.
Looks like you are getting the hang of this vital craft down pat, and filling a bit of a void in NZ. I bet people are so glad to get their hands on so much of that UL gear you are producing. Tell Raiden hello, and let him know his book is always in my bedside reading stack. Subbed to your channel on IG as well. Oh yes, I think your logo is very spiffy.
That is great. A cottage business takes a lot of work but can be rewarding. There is a young girl in NZ(Roisin takes a hike) planning to hike the AT in 2022. I told her to watch your videos. Maybe she will take one of your products. Good Luck, Rick
It can be a tough decision! I suggest down if you are looking for compressibility and superior warmth to weight ratio, especially for lower temperatures. If you think you are at a higher risk of your bag etting wet, or only expecting to be out in the warmer months then synthetic will provide you with a versatile option which is nicer on the wallet. For my journey on Te Araroa (as well as long walks in the USA) I opted for down, as I wanted the extra warmth and a more compact bag. Hope you find this helpful, always happy to discuss options further!
I've just come across your Quilt randomly online while looking at sleeping bags. I'm planning winter camping trips in my tent in the Canterbury high country. What sort or warranty comes with the quilt? Cheers
Hi there, if you are unsure if a quilt is right for you, you are welcome to purchase one and test it out at home. We are happy to provide a return & refund of an unused quilt if you don't think a quilt will work for you after seeing it in person. We do not accept returns of quilts which have been used. For faulty quilts we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to us at kiwiultralight@gmail.com or via the website www.kiwiultralight.co.nz

Can't decide on down or synthetic for doing Te Araroa
