Wow. So glad I found this. I grew up in the 80s in rural NY. I know it’s not exactly Appalachia but nearly everything in this video reminds me of my upbringing.
@appalshop i was a young’un when this film was made. i recall people looking and dressing and talking this way, but the film seems so much older, and from another place that no longer exists. do you reckon this trade day still happens now? also, is ramsey near wise, in west virginia?
