I'll be honest, I havent found training that I like, but this seems something I would enjoy, and even better, with summer coming, I can just use a sandbag in the yard, go around the pool, up the patio stairs... I se alot of potential
Your channel got me into sandbags last year! I've found that a heavy sandbag is a great way to train heavy in an apartment or small living space. Don't have to worry about destroying the floor or walls like a barbell with plates would.
@@SzatStrength with your charisma and knowledge, I have zero doubts you will get there. It's been fun watching the channel grow. It's just painful seeing channels like this get overlooked sometimes for other stuff. But just remember us early subscribers when you do blow up 🤙
Bought my first sand bag last week, it's ideal for my training in my appartment since gyms are still closed. It sure is a humbling experience handling it the first time around, will make me stronger for sure. Will try these tips out on my workout tomorrow, especially focussing on the pick up. Thanks man!
I got a 150lb Rogue cyclone bag for training. Their website shows the vertical pick (it's a tapered bag) but I can't do it that way because I'm only 5'5" so my legs aren't long enough. Pushing it on it's side I can use the row technique and it's made it way easier to shoulder or carry even with a short wingspan (which is demonstrated very nicely in this vid. Thanks!).
I put three 50lb bags of 'play sand' from the hardware store in it. It definitely feels like it weighs at least 150lbs. If you fill it with lead shot (or a mix) you can make it even heavier
A friend of mine loves sandbag training. He suggested I look into it. Then I saw this video (coincidence or divine intervention?). Female 5’2 newer to lifting. Can only dead 185 (so far!). Recommendations on weight to start with?
@@alnch9 no you can't really keep your back straight when doing stones or sand bags because your hands are so close to the ground. Just make sure you have a really strong brace with your breath and keep the center of mass of the inolime t as close to your body as you can
Sandbags are so simple... they hurt.
Is it acceptable to lift heavy weight now without using leg muscles or have I missed something ?
We all remember you carrying Jujis mega bag like a boss!!! And shout out to TOM for 112 lbs!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Shout out to Tom! Stay hard brother. Congrats on the transformation.
Tom seems like a good dude

Hell yeah. That's what i'm thinking too. They seem great for home workouts in the backyard. I'm getting one soon.
This is my exact regiment lol 🤙

Thanks guys for all this content, much appreciated! Keep going!
I think the sandbag is the most valuable tool in my home gym.

One of the best fitness channels out there. How you don't have more subs is beyond me. Love your stuff. Love your collaborations.
It’s a slow burn channel... we will get there

Great knowledge good sir. Keep up the great work 💪.
Awesome video, I have been trying to figure out if I wanted to get a sand bag or make one, i might have too now! Great content and information!
Loved the video. Got a 50kg slam ball at home that really got me into strongman conditioning, a set of sandbags is on my wish list
Go Tom! Go!
Just ordered three Cerberus bags to play with. Needed something good to train carries and do some conditioning. Handy video to get some inspiration.
its like you read my mind, I was just looking into getting a sandbag for outdoor workouts this summer!
they are great!!
Same, I'm trying to find something to use for my home workouts, and I like the dynamic and functional training from the sandbag.
Damn! Would love to see some before photos of your client’s transformation. Great work!
His is crazy
sandbags are my absolute favorite form of training. love doing them like atleast stones over bars for reps.
they are great replacement/alternative to stones.
@@SzatStrength more versatile and much easier to transport as well lol

Great info! Loved you in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Cerberus are my favorite sandbags.
This is what I've been looking for!! Juji has led me well
I love sandbag training, just got a 150lb bag today

What dis you fill it with and does it actually reach 150lbs

Never trained with sandbags but I would love to give them a shot
You should!!!
@@SzatStrength once I get some money saved up I’ll make sure to get myself some Cerberus bags!
already bought sand bags but didnt know what to do with them or how to incorporate them into my programming

What is that stand?
Tom got a channel ?
Recommended set of sand bags for all genders and weights; 50-300lbs in 50 lbs increments?
I like 25-50lbs increments
Tom is a fucking beast
Ken!!!!!!!!!! How about a discount code for us OG subs? I could use some Cerberus gear.
KEN HOOK THEM UP
From their instagram, they have a code:
IMBACK10
Applied right before purchase. It seems to work but I gotta wait til pay day :(
If I have a herniated disc, could I still lift the sandbags from the ground?
Don’t know till you try! You can make adjustments too for the pick up height
I have herniated discs and do it pain free with a 200lb bag. Usually do ground to shoulder for reps. Ymmv
@@fredc1932 that's great man. Do you make sure to keep your back straight at all times?

Wouldn’t want to workout with you 😂
