    This video is not helpful. I need to know how to remove the circle base in the middle. My nutribullet is old and crusty due to hard to reach spaces. If you make one smoothie with the blade/cup not tight enough that’s the end of your nutribullet. Your stuck with an abandoned moldy mess that will linger like a ghost on your kitchen counter. Don’t get me wrong I loved this thing when I first bought it but I am disappointed with the product’s design. The creators failed to think about the end user and how they would maintain the device over time.

      Thanks for your question! We do not recommend taking the NutriBullet apart for safety reasons. We recommend making sure the cup is tight to the blade before inserting it into the motor base. A quick shake test before inserting the cup will ensure that there are no leaks into the motor. Additionally, we recommend replacing the blade after 6-months, depending on usage for optimal performance. A worn blade can increase in leakage, noise and this creates wear and tear to the motor base. The motor base is protected from leaks and spills and has a drain hole that channels any leaks through the motor and out the bottom. If you need further assistance with your NutriBullet, our customer service is happy to help! Please call customer service at 855-346-8874 Monday-Friday 6am-5pm Pacific Time. Please have the unit handy, so customer service can check all your parts.

    What do I do if a liquid went inside because I didn’t close my lid properly before turning it on. My entire base is now leaking from the bottom because cofeee got inside and I want to clean it and dry it but no idea how I can do that without opening the screws on the base and taking apart the entire thing. Help!!

      Hello Kristine,
      Thanks for your message. Oh no! I am sorry to hear that was going on with your product. The motor base is encased and can not get damaged from the leakage. You can wipe out the motor base with a warm soapy cloth when the unit is unplugged to clean it. Please call our customer service at 855-346-8874 for further assistance. Our office hours are open from 6am to 5pm Monday- Friday (Pacific Time). Make sure to have the unit handy when you call.

      To everyone with the leaks all over the counter - it leaks through a little drain hole that you can find in the base. Unplug. Take a syringe, a glass of two of hot water and make the water go down that hole through the syringe. This is so easy to do and it will clean all the way down, same way all the other liquids made to you counter. Leave it some days to dry or dry with a hairdryer. If you do it immediately when the mess happens and clean the upper part with the sponge as they show here, your blender won’t smell.

    This video kills me. Excellent production all the way though thank you but I feel like this is totally commonly understood.
    We all want to know exactly how to sterilize within the machine casing.
    Specifically can we immerse it in liquid like vinegar and water then let set to dry?
    For me it is too late. My machine is immersed right now. I'll report back when I have let it dry for a day or two

    I overfilled the cup, so my bulletproof coffee ended up spilling and dripping from the bottom of the device. I did everything as advised as far as drying it, but it doesn't work anymore. Is there a chance I am using it too soon, should I give it a few days to dry on the inside? I can't tell if it is dry inside or not. On the outside, it's dry and has been wiped clean...

      Thanks for your question! Sorry to hear what happened! If making bulletproof coffee, we recommend making sure the ingredients are not warm or hot, since they can cause the ingredients to erupt and leak from the sealed vessel. The original NutriBullet has a drain hold that protects the internal components. We recommend trying our actuator cleaning tips here: ruclips.net/video/WSeq6Xf8Pw4/видео.html, which are usually successful in getting it working again. It the tips aren't helpful, please call customer service at 800-523-5993 Monday-Friday 6am-5pm Pacific Time. Please have the unit handy when calling, so customer service can check all the parts.

    Oh no - without thinking, I did rinse this in the sink. It was not “submerged” but I had it under a faucet. Is it safe to use? Is there a way I can take it apart to make sure I dry everything?

    • @nutribullet
      @nutribullet  4 года назад

      Thanks for your comment Grace. We do not recommend taking it apart for safety reasons. We recommend allowing it to dry in the sunlight for a few days to speed up the drying process and it should work fine. If you need further assistance, please call customer service at 855-346-8874 Monday-Friday 6am-5pm Pacific Time. Please have your NutriBullet handy, so customer service can check all your parts.

    Does it still work fine even if a little bit of leakage went inside of it

    • @nutribullet
      @nutribullet  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for your question! For the most part, the NutriBullet is protected for leaks and spills. It has a drain hole that channels accidental leaks through the motor and out the the bottom. If you had a leak, we recommend making sure the motor base is unplugged, wiped clean with a warm damp cloth and that the actuators in the rim are moving freely. If you need further assistance, please call customer service at 855-346-8874 Monday-Friday 6am-5pm. Please have your NutriBullet handy, so customer service can check all your parts.
