    Question of the day: What's the biggest moth you ever found in the wild?
    RUclips is not supporting my channel. It is completely and permanently demonetised! Unlike other 'normal' RUclipsrs, I do not make any money at all with my videos. Instead, my RUclips channel entirely runs on the donations made by my fans and viewers. It is only thanks to your support that I can improve the quality and size of this channel, and continue my mission to educate the world about the beauty of insects and nature. Without it, I would have to stop making so much content. Please consider supporting me on Patreon; a subscription-based crowdfunding platform. Find my Patreon here in this link: www.patreon.com/bartbutterflies
    It is also possible to send me a single payment through PayPal. Find the link to pay me here: paypal.me/BartCoppens
    Every single dollar helps; I will use all these funds exclusively to upgrade my camera's, pay for my bus tickets to film butterflies, obtain cocoons of species you like to see, and afford the free time and hard work I put in this channel for free.
    Patreon members also gain small benefits such as voting in polls that will decide what content I make next.
    It is also possible to send me a donation via the great platform "Liberapay" that works with VISA, Credit card and bank! Visit the link to my Liberapay page here: liberapay.com/BartCoppens/ I'm very grateful for any donations via Liberapay, Patreon and Paypal, it is only because of them that I can keep making moth videos, books and websites.
    All the funds I can raise online help me fund my educational website, my moth research, conservation programs, this RUclips channel(!) and my various online media. I also make and sell my own merchandise such as postcards, mugs, games, notebooks, caps and other material with moths on them on my Etsy store, please give it a visit! I found a grey moth that fit in the palm of my hand once. It was north american and I'm not sure what species it was.
      A question for you: Are there any moth species that remain venomous/poisonous into adulthood?

    So cute and fluffy!! I love them. ❤ I have found some on my Mexican passionflower vine. I live in Jalisco, México. The caterpillars are black and turn bright green. The green one we thought was a different species until I found your website!! Thank you so much! This video has helped a lot, because I am worried and want them to survive. We are surrounded by chickens and I don't want the larvae to be eaten when they reach L5 and wander...

    If you’re not getting monetized, your only other options are to keep trying for donations, or make a new RUclips. I’d sub and I’m sure many others would. RUclips is all about monetization, but you have to do it their way. Market your next channel better.

    • @BartCoppens
      @BartCoppens  4 года назад +5

      I tried but hardly 300-500 people move over to a new channel. I'm gonna keep using this one. Atleast now I have huge creative freedom since I don't need to worry about being advertiser friendly. I'm getting support from fans though :)

    • @nixvstheworld
      @nixvstheworld Год назад +2

      Why wont they monetize you?!! Is there an appeal process or anything? Thats insane and you absolutely deserve it. So many bad channels or ones just cranking out click bait, even ones with extremely inappropriate crap animation from other countries labeled for Kids when its kid characters but are XXX content that magically gets monetized! There has to be a mistake or an appeal process? You have enough subs I would think, you work hard have many videos and i dont see anything inappropriate enough to get you demonitized, whats their problem?!! I subbed today and watched the whole video, amazing work and lovely moths :)

    Don't you have to worry about inbreeding? I was always told you can't pair moths from the same brood. I raise giant silk moths and never breed mine together and always release them away from my home.
