11:25 Final thoughts on tiny campers
If you have a tiny camper- what are the pros and cons? If you don’t have one- would you consider one?
Being tiny is awesome, easy to tow, go anywhere, easy to store etc definitely some cons and adjustments though
Love the video. I live just north of Detroit. Want to start seeing the state parks in Ohio. We are starting of camping in Angola Indiana. Want to going in Ohio. Any idea which state park to start with. Thank you.
@@phillipolanger9116 I would start with Maumee Bay. It’s pretty close to you. Here is a review we did on this park. ruclips.net/video/ELDSPDrklc8/видео.htmlsi=N8KNGlvdc6gq0TmP Thanks for watching and we appreciate the comment!
The Little Guy for sure... That sweetie has a whole lot to offer for the single life ❤🙂
I guess just on a scale of coolness I like the base camp. Great if you are a solo traveler!
Yeah as a solo traveler I think I could do it. But not full time!
We owned a Basecamp for 5 years and we loved it! It was a great introduction to camping without having to upgrade our tow vehicle or be concerned with towing a huge camper. While space was limited, we learned to live small and pack only what was necessary. We loved having 2 doors to load gear and enjoy the views!! We recently upgraded to a 27’ and are absolutely loving all of the storage space we have. As always, thanks for a great video. Safe travels.
The two doors were really cool. I must say they really know how to maximize space. And I just think they look cool. 😎 I couldn’t full time in it though. lol. Thanks for watching and for the comment. - Mike and Shelley
👋🏽👋🏽..The Little Guy is my favorite..I just might fall out of ❤ with "The Alton" and in ❤ with The Little Guy.. Thank you for showing it ❤🙂
🤣 The Little Guy does have everything you need! Stay safe! - Mike and Shelley
It depends on the family that goes with you sometimes your kids will want to go till they getting older or have a lot of grandchildren.
Yeah, kids won't want to be cramped up with their folks for too long!
That’s true!
Are you thinking about getting a RV man
We always have loved the BASECAMP, I could see upgrading to that one day maybe, it is a bit pricey. Great video guys!
Thanks for watching! We were taking about that - it cost the same as our 29ft 5th wheel! It is nice though!
The Airstream looks like a mini spaceship but it's so cute! I agree with you, Shelley, it's dark inside. Love the way the windows pop out on the Little Guy. Great tours!
I do a weekend in it if we didn’t take the dogs but that’s probably it. And I can’t believe how pricey they are for their size!
That Airstream has quite the price tag! Admittedly, it has all you need in a really small impervious package, but I kind of liked the Little Guy Max more for all of the features.
Agreed! The Little Guy has everything you need for a lower price. I do like the look of the Airstream though.
Nice little purpose built campers but sorry Airstream the Little Guy has my vote based on layout.
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah I think the Airstream looks cool, but the Little Guy definitely has more to offer.
Cool starter campers
I think it would be fun for a weekend but I don’t know if I could do a long trip in it ! Thanks for watching! - Mike and Shelley
Beautiful channel! Subscribed from italy! Ciao!
Thank you so much! We love your beautiful country! We were fortunate enough to visit a few years ago!
Both are great campers, but the price tag for the Airstreamer may be out of reach for many. There’s a Little Guy next to right now and we had not seen one before. My curiosity got the best of me so I looked up a video on them and I was surprised at how nice they are! I think it would be perfect for one person or a couple for a few days…just couldn’t do that small
Space for very long with more than one person.
I’m with you, I could do it for a long weekend occasionally (without our dogs) but that’s about it. It is nice though!
Saw some neat features, and did get one idea for a mod. I like our Casita better though. We put three of us, plus two dogs in there 😂. Someday we'll probably be living out of our tiny camper.
I feel like your Casita has more room! Although I don’t know how I could even do that with Mike and the two dogs 🤣🤣
@@campinwiththeconfers Mike wouldn't even fit in our camper, he's to tall 😅. Our son is 6'2 and his head touches the ceiling
Airstreams are pretty neat with how much they can get in there, but definitely expensive. Earl likes the spaceship look of them. lol
At least the Airstreams tend to keep a fairly high resale value.
Wonder your thoughts on Indian Lake State park. Going to be in Angola Indiana May 3 to the 5. Want to try Indian Lake for a couple of days. Thanks Phil for Detroit
Indian Lake State Park is a great park. They have a swimming pool which is rare for an Ohio State Park. The Cranberry Resort is a cool restaurant/bar right on the lake. There is not a lot of hiking right there but there are some nice paths around the lake. We are actually going again for the eclipse!
Thank you Mike. You’re a great guy.
For the price, the little guy is the best trailer, with more storage and windows,we own the Max and have loved it, I can find more to do with the $20000 price difference between the 2
We really liked the layout. They used every square inch
I don't think we could do those at all. The bunny cabinet doors would never work. My cabinets are not that clean inside. 😂 Lynn and Danny
It would be an adjustment for sure. Not one I want to make though. Lol!
I think the little guy would be great for younger couples. I would considered one but at 60 my wife really would do well in that space. The air stream just to much money for vacation time. To me.
I agree, good for the younger folks. I could maybe do it for a weekend. It’s hard to be believe that those tiny things are as much as our 29ft 5th wheel though! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
