I do like this version a lot because there is more of a sense that he's chasing after her almost as much as she is chasing him...where other versions make it seem like it's all coming from her end. Kotoko is so over the top, but the actor for Naoki brings things a bit more into the physical realm to show he does care, he does get jealous, and he does like her but has no clue how to give back all the love and attention he has received from her.
in tagalog we call this NAMBABAKOD HAHAHAHA who knew my fave kotoki shipper was a filo!!! I’ve loved this show for years, by far my favourite adaptation based off of the manga bec of their chemistry and naoki extreme tsundere 😅 glad to know it’s still so loved years later, and we can gush about it all together
