In a totally different perspective being with Naoki was the best for Kotoko he helped her reach her full potential. She always thought she was dumb and etc, but his straight forward personality pushed her to become a really good nurse.
In drama or books we like cold hearted male lead like Naoki but in real life we're looking for someone like Kin-chan.
In real life someone obsessive like Kinchan is bad too tbvh
Furukawa Yuki is the best Naoki! He delivers those subtle and micro expressions very well

Season 2 when he was jealous he was already her husband but since he never had a girlfriend he had no idea he was jealous that's just one thing he wasn't a genius at and it was his feelings 🤣❤️

I read that the author's husband helped with producing/conceptualizing this drama. He wants people to know that even though in his wife's eyes, he's perfect, for him, she's the amazing one. So in this version, we can subtlety see that this version's Naoki is obviously in love with Kotoko.
I think the author died in an accident (when moving objects) and her boyfriend finished the rest knowing very well what she wanted to write.
I honestly can’t see signs of love from him…
I liked Kin-chan because he was very upfront with his feelings for Kotoko. I also knew she'd never see him beyond a friend. Even though she told herself numerous times that she'd give up on Naoki, she couldn't. I'm glad she didn't because they made each other better partners. On a funnier note, 1:08 into the clip, Naoki's side-eying Kin-chin was epic! BTW your synopsis is hilarious.

From manga, the anime, drama from early 90, the movie, korean ver, chinese ver, and of course the japan's ver. and..i just still love to watch your video. Naoki..i just love him. OH MY GOSH IS THAT YAMADA YUKI?! i didnt know he played that role in here!! i was so excited when i saw him 😆 he only seemed to play badass roles in action movies so to see he was in this classic romcom is a pleasant surprise!!

Honestly I already knew Naoki and Kotoko were gonna end up with each other in the end (I mean cmon it’s obvious) but still, I always wanted Kin-Chan and Kotoko to end up together in the end as the biggest plot twist ever!! Naoki is the biggest jerk ever, not only that but he’s been treating her like dirt since the first episode. Meanwhile Kin-Chan sang a dope ass song to Kotoko and even makes her food. He’s literally the most sweetest guy ever (imo). 💗
When I was a kid, I never really liked Naoki, I hated his character and was always frustrated with him. I really didn't understand back then, I just always saw him being a meanie for someone who liked him. As I grow older, I realized why. I never really liked guys that treats girl like sh*t

Kin chan was the deal. He was so understanding, and utterly helpful towards Kotoko. Most of the times Naoki disrespected her and tbh, if she wasn't such a hard head, she would've seen the way that Naoki treated her at some points was by no means fair. Whereas Kin chan always only wanted to help. Like, he even gave her up knowing Kotoko was more happy being with Naoki. But yeah, in reality, Naoki is a little hard to understand, his introvert self be like that sometimes, but he was fine too...
Mmhmm I agree. I know people try to analyze Naoki and try to get us to understand him, but in real life- half of us wouldn’t have the time to analyze someone just to know if they care about us. That’s tiring especially when you’re dealing with life, work, friendships, family, etc. who has the time to analyze someone like him IRL- unless you’re in love lol

The first time watching: how stupid kotoko is
The second watching: how rude Naoki is
The third watching: they are perfectly for each other
The fourth watching: how sweet Naoki, how pathetic, Kotoko so cute
Conclusion: we are in Kotoko view means that Kotoko feels she is stupid cause she cause so much problems, she are so lucky to have Naoki and she doesn't know why Naoki loves her (i don't know why at first), all the romantic Naoki show is unbelievable and clueless but still magical and wonderful
Thanks author for showing Naoki heart so we could understand how much Naoki suffer and how wonderful Kotoko is ❤
