Oh how I miss the great gsharp! I would have loved to have skype lessons with this man. All I can do is watch these videos repeatedly at slower speeds and hope to absorb some of his skills. I wish there was someone who could teach these skills in a very systematic way in the manner of how guys like Brett Papa and other pros break down lick sequences note for note at slower speeds. Most of the YT slash guys just kind of rip through the licks without lots of breakdown. Love gsharp!
@@foxthooot5090 niko is very good but I think gsharp was better overall. I think what separates him is that he had better feel and fluidity as compared to niko. I say this as a fan of niko and would love to play as well as he does, but I think Niko’s bends and vibrato aren’t as good as gsharp. I think a lot of people overlook bends and vibrato but if you don’t get that right it’s just not as musical and can lose some of that bluesy vibe that slash has.
