the video would have been more entertaining if you would have let him buy things alone felt like you were guiding him or encouraging him on what to buy especially when you said "hopefully i did okay on the shade match" ulta has a good exchange & return policy maybe he has a fear of disappointing you, but it is make-up - it's all for fun.
Would have to agree. I can understand being with him to at least point out what is what (like concealer vs foundation so he’s not constantly bugging an Ulta employee), but it just seemed like you were having him grab the items you wanted. Next time, maybe send him on his own and just write a more detailed list? I.e. color of brow pencil, volume mascara, etc I think that would give him more creative freedom but still be within the ballpark and you can set the budget. You can always return the items that don’t work or are the wrong color.

Just a side note. I'd l9ve to see you do under eye concealer on the actual under eyes, please. As most of us use these concealers under our eyes and I know for me the HG concealer is pretty crap on my under eye but I guess is fine on the face. I do think she helped Dan a lot but my boyfriend would've needed the same amount of help when it comes to "what is this product? Foundation or concealer?" I do think she helped Dan a lot but my boyfriend would've needed the same amount of help when it comes to "what is this product? Foundation or concealer?" And I wouldn't want to double buy my products either. I do think at some points she could've given him more free reign but tbh it wasn't as bad as what yall made it out to be lol
