as someone who had that same thought years ago, the answer is yes. youre going to discover that life has different kinds of happiness, each good and incomparable to the other. youre gonna finish school, start a career, and realize that the next stages are something you can really get into and enjoy

You will be happier than now if you focus on what you want out of life and not what others want for you. Do what excites you and not get into a job just because of the money. The money will come with any job as long as you spend within your means of living. Many high-income earners go paycheck to paycheck because they hate their jobs so much, they try to find happiness in spending. Life really isn't that bad, it's just our current perspective is stuck in a bad place right now. It's like being in a fog. You just have to trust that everything is going to be alright.
