Caz damn bro you are amazing you know how to fix lots of stuff been saving some money !!! p.s who the hell has a rivet gun like if it was an ordinary tool ! ha ha -Louie Mixx
I thought of that, but the holes on the wheel are wider than those on the mirror arm. I couldn't think of any screw I could use. But a rivet gun & rivets will cost you just $20. combined....It could be a handy tool to have around. Other than that it was very easy to replace.
I suggest getting some Arriba Scanner Mirror Protector. It protects the mirror pretty well. Cool vid bro.... Dj Xclusivo NYC Exclusive Sound Productions
I was sitting with one of these lights, trying to replace the mirror, and thinking "what the hell is this mess!" So after pulling a couple screws out and getting nowhere, I youtube'd it. Now I have to go to freakin' Home Depot. Thanks for the info. And seriously Martin, RIVOTS?! Would screws be too difficult?
thanks for the tip bro, how did you order that mirror, direct from martin or what.Got 2 of them myself. Also do you think you could put some screws in there. Thanks
Would it not have been easier to remove the circular base plate off the motor shaft, swap the mirror brackets then re attach it all to the motor shaft. They normally just attach to the motor shaft with a Grub screw with a Hex/Allen key head.
Caz, great tip and word of wisdom regarding helpers/roadies and sharing the wealth.
HAHA! "after a reluctant trip to Home Depot"... Another good "fix it yourself vid" from Caz. 5 stars Caz :)
