Hello fish Guy Chris, I know you're pretty good at keeping fish but I was wondering if you've ever read up on the foxface also known as the rabbitfish. Well the foxface happens to be an herbivore. The last time I saw he/she in your tank he/she was looking a little thin. You have a lot of invertebrates in there that are eating the algae he could be eating. Zooplankton is ideal plus algae sheets or pellets, you can also try fresh. The foxface rabbitfish will pick a territory. Hope that helped 😜
Hey Chris I got a question for you. What happened to the baby mantis shrimp you caught in one of your latest videos about 3 or 4 months ago. I don't think you've shown it again lately
You have Sailfin Mollies real nice ones. I have a 55 gallon full of them I think they would be amazing in the pond ,very active and the males will Spar and the Dorsal goes up and they go around really cool to watch. You need some nice plants ,🌿🌿 get some Anubias they grow on driftwood if you attach them ,very cool and easy plant that helps your pond stay healthy. You can catch Wild type Sailfins and Crayfish in the canals in your area, its a idea for a video. Just put a couple fish traps you'll get a bunch.
Very cool fish from the mystery boxes! If you're looking for colorful fish for your freshwater pond you should look into a SUPER RED TEXAS or a CRYSTAL PARROT. If you buy the right fish, they can be very vibrant fish. A Zeus line Carpintis Cichlid is a very bright blue color and an amazing fish! They would be great in your freshwater pond.
Love the vids and I bet you do it off camera but don't forget to climate because you just showed you opening the box and immediately scooping it into the pond. I know you have been doing this forever but just a FYI!
Instead of a $500 and $1000 mystery box. Go spend a weekend in mexico or somewhere snorkling and try and catch some aquarium fish. Im sure you'll have tons of footage.
Chris..don't get too much mollies. They breed like crazy. You will end up with a pond full of mollies😂. Just a few would do. I suggest you can do a freshwater exotics..like african lungfish, tigerfish and other freshwater rarities. That would be epic.
As someone who has kept livebearers, unless you have a lot of hiding spaces in the tank, most of the fry get eaten by the adults. And mollies can be hard to breed in pure freshwater unless it has a high hardness rating (seriously, you need malawi level hardness for them to not be prone to infections). They prefer brackish water, and in nature is most often found in estuaries and mangroves. But anyway, as long as the tank has some mid-sized fish (2-3 inches or longer), and isn't heavily planted, most of the fry will end up getting eaten. But the population would slowly and steadily increase, and hey, free food for the carnivores he has elsewhere.
You should really spice up that pond with macro algae and get some more colour in there some nice greens and reds to go with the rocks, would be a gorgeous little touch
you should get at bass fishing productions for freshwater fish & almost every color crayfish you could ask for. he goes out to canals, creeks, the Everglades, abandoned ponds, & other places in florida
Whats even funnier is all those fish and crayfish are in the streams of florida right next to him there are fish videos of a rival who catches them every day he yeets the mollys back as worthless
In the $500 mystery box Fish 1 looks like some variety of Fairy Wrasse. Fish 2 is a Yellowtail Wrasse Fish 3 is a Tiger Wardi Goby Fish 4 is a Lemon Peel Angel

@@brotherkhrayn3525 how do you come up with that? A electric blue crayfish is about 20$ and mollies go for 2-3$
@@brotherkhrayn3525 way off man. Blue crawfish $15-$20 and those mollies most places you'd pay $5-$10 for all of them
I can buy electric blue crayfish for around $5. In Indiana so yea $100 box was maybe $30 of fish.
