God I love the lyric video for this… And although I'm not in love with the chorus (I mean it's catchy, but not the best IMO) I really love the song. I mean, again, apart from the chorus which I find slightly irritating and disruptive to the kind of slow-sexy-buildup-thing the song has going on, I think it's really good. Just the slow/sexy beat and the lyrics - so addictive and such a good tune! Kind of haunting. It's different and refreshing and fits Katy's style well :)
My favorite line was definitely 'Oooh my little voyeur wants to play explorer' - thought that was a pretty good one.

Most likes thanks everyone, just as a disclaimer - I am a dancer and my usual big competition in July, the age groups go by what age you are on the first day of the year (E.G if you’re born on January 5th and you’re turning 16 - you’ll still be in 15 years and under/over when competition day comes around)
I was born in September- so I was still 11 when I entered my main competition, deeming my jazz routine “age inappropriate” (although I have to really blame my old dance teacher for letting me do this)
And when I made this comment it was a couple of days before my 17th birthday, as I’m turning 20 in a few days :)

Part of Me was the first single, Katy had said that it Part of Me was going to be the first single no matter what. Wide Awake wasn't supposed to be the second single but people complained that Dressin' Up was too sexual, so they replaced it with Wide Awake.
Read the lyrics, it clearly explains why it wasn't a single, she has young fans, people and parents are going to get offended.

Okay Gaga fans (BTW I am one too and a Katy fan) Electric Chapel was released in May 2011, Katy recorded this song ALL THE WAY back in 2010, she COULD NOT HAVE HUMANLY POSSIBLE copied Gaga at all. Dressin up was released in 2012, but recorded 2 years before that, same can be said for Roar and Brave which Roar was recorded in March 2013 and Brave was released I think in June 2013, they may sound alike, but THERE IS NO WAY KATY COULD HAVE COPIED ANYONE because she recorded it before the other songs were even released
She also made this song with the lead singer of reliant k so idk how lady Gaga has any correlation with this song...
