We are currently on day 14 of our self-quarantine at Lee's parent's house (thanks again to Will & Shaz for everything!!). This week we decided to share a vlog all about WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE'S NOTHING TO DO 😊 . And while we are certainly 3 very upbeat, positive people we thought it was important to share the raw emotions we've all been feeling throughout this very strange time. Watching this again almost a year later after hearing about Lee. My boyfriend and I watched yall a lot at the beginning of quarantine last year and it made me so happy that you three had each other. Everyone was feeling a lot of anxiety and uncertainty but watching this made us feel like we were sharing it with friends. You will be missed, Lee. I can't even imagine how your friends and family must be feeling right now.

I had to watch this again because i miss Lee so much. I don’t have anybody that understands how i feel, just because i didn’t meet her in person... But i love her so much. I started my Sunday journeys with Eamon and Bec a month or so before Lee passed away. As I binge my way through your early vlogs I am absolutely devastated that such a bright light is no longer on the Earth. Lee was a gem and it was so obvious she was both of your best friend. I will continue to send you my love- grief isn’t something that has a timeframe or follows a paved road. It will be a journey filled with hills, valleys, and really bumpy roads. Lee was such a bright soul. And y’all seem to be family instead of just friends. My heart breaks for all of you during this time of great loss. My son has walked that darkness and it now in therapy and medication regime. I pray daily that it helps him and I am lucky enough to get to hug him daily whether he needs it or I need it or we both do. I'm so sorry for her death. I struggle with major depressive disorder I know how she felt like. I wake up everyday just trying to keep going. Prayers for her family and friends.
There is only one you and you matter!!! Please always reach out to a friend or family member.. my brother is bipolar and it is a struggle, but he is now 54 and can’t imagine if he wasn’t with us. So many memories we would not have.❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

I gotta say your honesty and transparency during this time are commendable. I do not judge you missing your van and your pillow and toilet. As minimalists you have precious few things, and it's super obvious that you value living thing over any single object. That said when you are ripped from the few things you do own, its understandably difficult.
This is a time like no other. It’s made everyone(with a brain) stop and take inventory. What’s really important. And guess what? It’s what’s always been important. Family. Love. Safety. Humanity. Humility. Sharing, although carefully. Respect. Integrity. Humor. And doing it all consciously. Enough of the plowing forward to get to some point in the future. Our future I’d fragile and unknown. Let’s embrace our blessings and be patient. And kind and thoughtful to each other, no matter who the other is. We are all feeling tender and uncertain. Praying for you💕
Yes, Occy is a lucky boy to have such a loving family here looking after him. I am sure him and Max are looking forward to reuniting after his 6 month period is up (he needed to stay put for half a year before he could return back to Australia).
I had the same realization about our quarantine - we self-quarantined for 14 days after my step daughter came home from Los Angeles. That 14 day marker was a milestone in my head, but really, nothing much is changing now that we've hit that date (except we know that we are healthy, which I am super thankful for).
I agree 100% with all the comments on this thread. So funny yet heartbreaking. But gotta say was a bit odd only hearing Max's name mentioned in an off hand manner in regards to occy. Was almost like the elephant sitting in the room.
Thank you for sharing, I am currently on day 19 of quarantine, alone in my 40m2 apartment, in France. I've been feeling down for about 3 days ... Emotions are pretty heavy and I feel so stuck ... I had plans of travel, moving to an other city ... I hate this feeling. Also I am scared and sad about this situation, I keep thinking about those people affected by the virus, alone, etc ... Hard to not be anxious those days ! Thank you for sharing, it makes our emotions more like "normal". Love you guys !

I send you a lot a lot of encouragement and a lot of strength. I'm in Madrid and for mor than 2 weeks in quarantine and its difficult if you are alone and in a tiny apartment. You must thing about positive things, you can learn something how a new language or do a internet course about something that interest you. Its a good time to beginning in meditation and for know oneself. There a lot of thing you can do for profit this time, I recommend you do some exercice, will make you feel better. @@ediemccreedy4325 um...they designed their lives this way so they CAN do yoga and dance about all day. It's wonderful, right? I'm 45 and legit wish I had done half the things they had the foresight/ambition to do at their age. I'm so proud that one of my older kids who is almost 20 is in the planning stages of van life for herself in the future.

Why did the dance party sequence make me cry the hardest? Such a nice community but still a surreal way to commune. Bec- my partner and I left our tiny home with less than 30 days notice about 2 yrs ago, it is never enough time to feel you've closed a chapter, but cheers to the next.

Aymane Mo how do you know it’s not a big deal to stay with Lee’s parents? I know personally, I hate to be a burden or stay longer than is welcome. No matter how much someone says it’s fine, it always feels like I’m overstaying my welcome after a certain time. Maybe they didn’t want to continue staying bc they felt bad, or maybe they just had other plans.

Just keep breathing, and take it one day at a time, one step at a time. Those memories of your van, they are in your heart. Even if you do lose it, you have those memories and THAT you will never lose. I've lost everything before, and have learned that possessions are just that, possessions. It does make me sad from time to time when I think about what I have lost, but then I do have the memories still. It is easy to feel sad in this uncertain world right now. Everyone is affected by this in some way. Just keep on keeping on!

Life is really unexpected and short. I'm sorry for your loss. She had such a beautiful smile and soul. Even that I'm not a friend and just saw in some of your vids. Through her convo and actions. She loved and appreciated life and I'm glad that she met you guys and able to travel and breathe in life. Depression is scary and mental health is rising. I gotta say your honesty and transparency during this time are commendable. I do not judge you missing your van and your pillow and toilet. As minimalists you have precious few things, and it's super obvious that you value living thing over any single object. That said when you are ripped from the few things you do own, its understandably difficult.

Yes, Occy is a lucky boy to have such a loving family here looking after him. I am sure him and Max are looking forward to reuniting after his 6 month period is up (he needed to stay put for half a year before he could return back to Australia).

I had the same realization about our quarantine - we self-quarantined for 14 days after my step daughter came home from Los Angeles. That 14 day marker was a milestone in my head, but really, nothing much is changing now that we've hit that date (except we know that we are healthy, which I am super thankful for).

Thank you for sharing, I am currently on day 19 of quarantine, alone in my 40m2 apartment, in France. I've been feeling down for about 3 days ... Emotions are pretty heavy and I feel so stuck ... I had plans of travel, moving to an other city ... I hate this feeling. Also I am scared and sad about this situation, I keep thinking about those people affected by the virus, alone, etc ... Hard to not be anxious those days ! Thank you for sharing, it makes our emotions more like "normal". Love you guys !

You must thing about positive things, you can learn something how a new language or do a internet course about something that interest you. Its a good time to beginning in meditation and for know oneself. There a lot of thing you can do for profit this time, I recommend you do some exercice, will make you feel better. I'm 45 and legit wish I had done half the things they had the foresight/ambition to do at their age. I'm so proud that one of my older kids who is almost 20 is in the planning stages of van life for herself in the future.

Aymane Mo how do you know it’s not a big deal to stay with Lee’s parents? I know personally, I hate to be a burden or stay longer than is welcome. No matter how much someone says it’s fine, it always feels like I’m overstaying my welcome after a certain time. Maybe they didn’t want to continue staying bc they felt bad, or maybe they just had other plans.

Just keep breathing, and take it one day at a time, one step at a time. Those memories of your van, they are in your heart. Even if you do lose it, you have those memories and THAT you will never lose. I've lost everything before, and have learned that possessions are just that, possessions. It does make me sad from time to time when I think about what I have lost, but then I do have the memories still. It is easy to feel sad in this uncertain world right now. Everyone is affected by this in some way. Just keep on keeping on!
