16 years... that must have been the biggest time gap ever in the RE world between the first visit and the obligatory backtracking. Just long enough for the dust to settle.
@@SurvivalSpheres I don't believe Raccoon's been explored in the aftermath of the nuclear strike, at least in the videogames series. No other music like yours could better fit an escorted visit by survivors to the silent ruins, serving as a sort of interactive and atmospheric introduction

@@agentstone4249 I see nothing rude here :-) Principle of this channel is this: I usually make music reminiscent of save room songs, in terms of atmosphere. Because this is RUclips, I need visuals to upload. So most often I pick scenes from the games which I consider fitting in the wider sense. In this case, creatures were on board of the plane as well. But once they were gone, the plane became silent and peaceful. Or, a different take, one could imagine flying in the safe plane while chaos breaks lose down below. The plane has, so to speak, become the save room for the moment.

Relistening to this again and cannot help picturing a scene from the S.D. Perry Novel Resident Evil Caliban Cove. Rebecca and David are on a flight to meet the other S.T.A.R.S members. This would go perfectly for that scene. Where Rebecca, is meditating on the flight before she sleeps, dealing with the emotions of her taking another life and processing those emotions. With everything else she had just gone through and at the mansion.

You know what helps me sometimes: I imagine my life the epilogue scene of a survivor from one of our horror scenarios. These characters would certainly be grateful for everything, even for being allowed to work. Sometimes it works more, sometimes less :-D

That's one of the first thoughts I had with this. Sometimes the quiet and the cold can make your mind play tricks on itself, similar to how the dark does 🤔🤨😵💫😅 Lovely music, very calm but a tad mysterious and sad too...
