I like the takeovers being a thing, but it should only be a few days. A weekend, or maybe 3 days, then it's own Playlist the rest of the event. It would make people have to try it, then if they like it like 3 strikes, people will keep playing it. But you wouldn't be forced to deal with it like the sword.
The free heirloom should be an unlock like the Phantom bow in Battlefield 4 where you have to do a series of challenges. It also should be the only fee one so they all have value.
I really don't know how the conduit is so overpowered for some people, I've never had an issue with conduit at all, ever, only Rev, most of the time I can one clip a conduit and even when they use their shield I normally still kill them, I think people just don't know how to play around her and that's the real issue, people don't want to adjust their plays a little bit

I’m not sure why conduit needs another nerf. I think players just don’t know how to play around her. She is a support and is gonna have an unfair advantage. I mean lifeline is gonna get reworked to be able to heal on the move too. I think conduit is just a really successful character and players need to get used to her. We can’t just have the same horizon and whatever meta forever
I think heirlooms should be something to grind for like if you have a legend mastery system and when you hit like 5000 kills on such legend you unlock their heirloom. I also think collection events should only be $50-75 as it’s literally just pixels, one shouldn’t have to pay $160 for them.
Caustic being meta in ALGS is unsurprising to me, given current aggressive meta with Rev/Conduit shieldgate, having a defensive tool that damages health directly sounds like a great solution.
Heirlooms dont have hype now. All it shows is you spent a bunch of money to get it. It would have been better for heirlooms to be free but have in game challenges to achieve. Like 1000 kills, 1000 assists, 50 wins in BR. Something that forces you to play and keep the player base higher.

i also like to play conduit but what most people actually complain about is her interaction with beefy characters like revenant. That is also the reason why the pickrates between conduit and Revenant correlate. In my opinion they should just debuff revenant's ult, meaning that he should not regenerate his shields except by knock outs or his own bats or cells. In addition Conduit ain't toxic for the meta at all (except for the broken revenant interaction) because she is already quite nerfed compared to her debut. I mean look how slow she heals her own shields. Respawn made a few good changes with this character making her more dependent from her teammates. What I like to see as a nerf would be the way she heals her teammates because of now it is kind of weird to heal teammates through walls and obstacles. That would actually a very well deserved nerf making sense in the game.
That FF collection event was EXPENSIVE. I don't mind them giving players a free heirloom for once, especially for those who've invested 1000s of hours into this game. As for Conduit, they can nerf the duration, cooldown, and/or amount she heals you for. What makes a nerf not enough to make her a healthy addition to the game?
That's bogus. Last algs everyone was running horizon bang and catalyst. Caustic and conduit haven't even been in meta long in comparison to legends like horizon. It's season 20 and she's just now not meta since her inception. Nobody complained about that. They just don't want to switch metas because they like the lame old meta we had for 12-13 seasons straight.

People should not spawn with their q's every time they die in mixed tape. Its toxic and rewards players for dying. Just have the cooldown carry over. Theres no reason a caustic should spawn with 3 traps, die then have 3 more 10 seconds later.

The last “cheaper” collection event was the imperial guard with the wraith recolor, where the crafting was half off. Coin value of 700 per pack was still a thing. The buster sword wasn’t ever said to be a free thing was it? I honestly can’t remember.
Get the EA pass and use metals/earned battle pass coins. I get every heirloom for about $108. I spend more on things I’ll never use again so $100 really isn’t a problem
conduit isn't a cancer, support legends weaken the enemies advantage similar to lifeline passive res and gibby bubble. assault legends prevent enemies from playing cover. controller legends control an area. skirmish legends are mobility.

the hunt is an "eh" mode. I'm not too fond of it and don't dislike it, I find the fact that one team is permanently stuck being a prey team annoying. if not then I'm constantly getting unlucky through multiple games because I'm constantly being hunted, and in only 2 games I've been picked as the hunter I've had the pads spawn consistently after each other's timeout so it seems to pick teams to permanently be Hunters and Prey. Another issue is that the prizes of the loot-ticks seem to be only Krabers and EVA-8s, which is just making it a very annoying endgame. All in all, its not awful but I hate takeovers on both duos and trios and everyone needs a break from gamemodes every now and again.
Sorry but first, the hunt pads that spawn don’t choose people. It spawns occasionally if you don’t currently have an ongoing hunt (hunting or hunted). If you pick it up you get to hunt someone, but if another team picks up theirs first and they get you then that’s just how it is. Second, I’ve gotten wingmans and bows plenty of times in the reward ticks so maybe you’re just generalizing or maybe just unlucky

No, basically every game has either been constant prey with no pad spawns or constant hunters with pad spawns after every active hunt spawn.... even let the pad time out to see if anything changes (it did not). With the gun situation it has mostly been evas and krabers every game ive survived top 5+, then again that specific game I didn't get to see if they were different guns but the kill feed had a fair bit of krabers and the wingmen were off of care packages. But as i said i didnt see end ring as I got aimbotted by a flatline. So lucky you! but this mode should be taking over both duos and trios as it's irritating to have your location constantly known.
@jmeyels, they just need to give more stuff on the paid heirlooms. more animations, free recolors, trackers, badges, framers, stickers whatever. Just give more. make it worth it. then free heirlooms are gonna be barebones
The hunt is not my favorite mode, actually, it's one of my least favorites. Nothing like a uav showing where you are for half the match. Will NOT be playing this mode again.

I don't mind the free heirloom. The one they made for Horizon sucks IMO, so I just have 150 mythic shards waiting for something worth using them on. They also keep screwing Horizon, so I am legit scared to spend them on her. Last time I spent on an heirloom it was for Wraith, and then they almost immediately made her useless for over 2 years. So having a free option to sub in on characters I am unsure will stay viable is very nice. Just make it a challenge like they are currently doing with the OP Flatline skin. As for Conduit, I think she is OK after her nerf. I much more mind playing against Revenant. His ult is incredibly annoying. It stacks on his armor and it automatically regenerates if the Rev at all knows how to get around. Take overs should be a separate thing. I really liked the Final Fantasy thing and the current one, but what if they had sucked? It is very risky to force people out of the BR they know and love.

I played from day 1 and probably opened 1000 packs. Never got a Heirloom. In fact towards the end of my time with the game it was rare to get anything interesting. Loot boxes are done. Gamers moved on from them but Apex is stuck in the past.

The number of players actually playing the game at any given time is not enough to fill the lobby if they had several modes going at once. A lot of people have left this game because of EA and Respawn the rest play the game at different times.

Nth wrong with The Hunt, it's pretty fun and I agree with what they did. You guys are too miserable for a LTM that barely changes BR in any way. Too many events in Apex have super long queue times where almost nobody plays cuz people couldn't care less when they add a new LTM anyway.
Conduit has genuinely ruined this game for me. I fell in love with Apex cause of its fun RNG and skill display but Conduit is an Overwatch style character with healing like hers, even if its temporary. It is extremely unhealthy for an RNG battle royale. She fits well in mixtape due it being a closed environment and fast paced respawning with less on the line like in BR, like a 5v5 game call Overwatch ;). I never got into Overwatch cause if the insta healing which cancels out all the damage you did to your enemy without getting the kill. If Conduit was built like Lifeline (GIGACHADS), I think she would have fit in (AOE Healing that gets disrupted by incoming damage and shooting weapons, but that's just Wattys ult). Also she just doesn't fit into one class of legend imo: She has an Assault / Skirmisher Passive, Only Support ability is her overpowered Q and a Controller / Assault Ult (I know Gibby + Newcastle is support whose Ults do damage but IMO there should have been a Tank Class to separate the Fortified ability). She can completely turns the tide of a losing fight by pressing one button. Turning the odds of a fight should be based on the players skill and quick thinking on the losing side. There is no skill based in her kit.
I understand the game mode complaint, but this mode really doesn't change anything. Maybe it gives a team an unfair advantage, sure, but it's still just regular BR.

@jmeyels, they just need to give more stuff on the paid heirlooms. more animations, free recolors, trackers, badges, framers, stickers whatever. Just give more. make it worth it. then free heirlooms are gonna be barebones

The hunt is not my favorite mode, actually, it's one of my least favorites. Nothing like a uav showing where you are for half the match. Will NOT be playing this mode again.

I don't mind the free heirloom. The one they made for Horizon sucks IMO, so I just have 150 mythic shards waiting for something worth using them on. They also keep screwing Horizon, so I am legit scared to spend them on her. Last time I spent on an heirloom it was for Wraith, and then they almost immediately made her useless for over 2 years. So having a free option to sub in on characters I am unsure will stay viable is very nice. Just make it a challenge like they are currently doing with the OP Flatline skin.
As for Conduit, I think she is OK after her nerf. I much more mind playing against Revenant. His ult is incredibly annoying. It stacks on his armor and it automatically regenerates if the Rev at all knows how to get around.
Take overs should be a separate thing. I really liked the Final Fantasy thing and the current one, but what if they had sucked? It is very risky to force people out of the BR they know and love.

I played from day 1 and probably opened 1000 packs. Never got a Heirloom. In fact towards the end of my time with the game it was rare to get anything interesting.
Loot boxes are done. Gamers moved on from them but Apex is stuck in the past.
Its just a damn video game 🎮🎯😂 seriously screw games like this. Everyone should have an heirloom at all times including all weapon skins for everyone thats been playing since day 1. Paying extreme amounts of cash is ridiculous. They dont fix crap in the game. It just gets harder to play. Algs and making big bucks playing a childs game is what ruined it for me. On top of the people that think they are superior to me just because they are good at a video game but hey do you because Apex Legends is probably what your only good at lol.

The number of players actually playing the game at any given time is not enough to fill the lobby if they had several modes going at once. A lot of people have left this game because of EA and Respawn the rest play the game at different times.

Nth wrong with The Hunt, it's pretty fun and I agree with what they did. You guys are too miserable for a LTM that barely changes BR in any way. Too many events in Apex have super long queue times where almost nobody plays cuz people couldn't care less when they add a new LTM anyway.
Conduit has genuinely ruined this game for me. I fell in love with Apex cause of its fun RNG and skill display but Conduit is an Overwatch style character with healing like hers, even if its temporary. It is extremely unhealthy for an RNG battle royale. She fits well in mixtape due it being a closed environment and fast paced respawning with less on the line like in BR, like a 5v5 game call Overwatch ;). I never got into Overwatch cause if the insta healing which cancels out all the damage you did to your enemy without getting the kill. If Conduit was built like Lifeline (GIGACHADS), I think she would have fit in (AOE Healing that gets disrupted by incoming damage and shooting weapons, but that's just Wattys ult). Also she just doesn't fit into one class of legend imo: She has an Assault / Skirmisher Passive, Only Support ability is her overpowered Q and a Controller / Assault Ult (I know Gibby + Newcastle is support whose Ults do damage but IMO there should have been a Tank Class to separate the Fortified ability). She can completely turns the tide of a losing fight by pressing one button. Turning the odds of a fight should be based on the players skill and quick thinking on the losing side. There is no skill based in her kit.
Yeah, so sick of being forced to play Conduit, or your team is at a huge disadvantage...
I understand the game mode complaint, but this mode really doesn't change anything. Maybe it gives a team an unfair advantage, sure, but it's still just regular BR.
Personally I made it to plat and that's all I needed this split now I can take a break from this shit game and wait for changes
Idk i think conduit being a support legend doesn't help make her a skirmish class i think that would help.
