Support class is way to op they literally have like 7 passives while skirmishers can only scan care packages ☠️☠️
Assault legends too, they only open assault bins and carry more ammo
overall, control are the worst imo, the extra shield is good, but scanning the ring, dude that thing is useless most of the times and you don't even get the points if you scan twice a single console.
All skirmishers have kits to escape easily and reposition, assault have firepower to hold or repel enemies, controllers, they just have that extra shield that if you're outside the ring, and that happens a looot you get nothing, so yeah, controllers, for me are the most underwhelming amongst all classes regarding abilities+perks as an overall kit.
Heal b hop should totally be a skirmisher thing.
Skirmishers should have the double small heals imo, would give them something else

Nah, they did that on purpose to have a newcastle + x support meta. They want to direct what kind of endgames on pro level we get. And A LOT of people in the commemts are obviously happy about what they see. Even a lot of pros likimg this meta.
To think that the Devs "dont know" what they are doing is plain out naive.
They wanted an excuse to nerf him as he's getting the heirloom this season

Apex is not better. Cheaters are still prevalent as ever, tired of playing team death match or something and the kill cam shows that I was killed by a dude that snapped directly to me and killed me in 2 shots with a P2020

Is someone else having super sweat lobbies in pubs during night times? Been like this for 2-3 days now, constant matches that feel like cheaters lobbies nonestop and its was so bad that i had to go play ranked to have some sort of break.
Supports buffs only needed this
-Walking speed healing
-Revive teammate regen health up to 75 hp
-double effects from small healing items
They did not need
-Faster revive speed
-Faster healing speed
-Revive regening up to 100 hp
-Reviving a support legend as a non -support still gives them regen up to 100 hp
They can keep the regen to 100hp, just half the speed, so it's only applicable after fights and not during fights
Naw the double healing perk is strong enough on its own
Double healing was unnecessary imo. It literally used to be a gold item.
Even chess has a huge cheating problem. All online games are doomed.

I love the support buffs but getting double heals and revive to full hp honestly feels broken .
My honest thoughts are, take away the lifeline heal from each of the support legends. I'm ok with the increase small heals and movement, support needs a time to shine too. Bring back Maggie ball and crypto EMP having ability to destroy new castle shield, lifeline shield, gibby bubble.
@@DevinHeida 100% a hard counter to their cover is needed im fine with the movement and small heals buff to the class but not being able to counter the support cover abilities is busted and drawing fights out way longer than they need to be

I've noticed myself that cheaters haven't been as bad now as a few weeks ago but i can't help but wonder if it's actually ea/respawn hunkering down on the cheater issue or if the cheaters are now bored of the game like everyone else

The knockdown shield is completely understandable, however I still don't agree with people saying newcastles op. He feels powerful but I've had no issues countering him at all.
I don’t know how people say this meta is healthy you not someone at mid range and then your whole team pushes. Now you’re the one who gets punished because the Newcastle revived the lifeline and with the passive healing. All she has to do is use two shield cells and she is completely back in the fight in two seconds, and then on top of that knowing that there’s a lifeline and a Newcastle you know those indestructible shields are about to go down and then all it does. It turns into a poke battle. SMG’s are literally useless nowadays.

Bro the gold knock down is just a symptom of the problem. They only don't get punished because you over buffed legends like New Castle and Gibby so there is always a shield up to protect these legends while they get the rez off and then free protection to heal right back up. And then you nerf maggie so that her ball doesn't even break these shields. Give with one hand and take with the other. They have zero clue how to balance their own game its pathetic

The new castle meta is literally Apex's version of GOATs, long drawn out fights filled with shields and revives

Straight Shot is gone... now you don't need to play the game anymore. You get teammates without brains who rush alone and leave the game as soon as they are down. And then you should play against preds and master. Absolutely unplayable. The meta stinks too... it's really getting worse

There's obviously gonna be pros who argue against the causals and likewise, but here's an idea... why not take the hot takes from both sides and meet in the middle for releases... no one would be getting catered to and at least then it'll be some sort of middle ground

the problem wasn't the knock shield, it was the over tuned support legends, full heals, faster revives, plus faster heals/shielding/ plus shield abilities equals near infinite sustain.. idk who is making design choices and bringing these balance ideas to the table, this meta would still be shit if the kraber one shotted in the leg.

Gold knock was hella OP so I’m ok with it being gone, hopefully it does stay gone and they leave the support legends where they are, I think it’s made the games last longer fights more interesting etc but I’m just getting back into apex after a year and a half break, cheaters are definitely a problem in every competitive fps right now it’s so annoying I can’t wait for arc legends to fully release

Bro I get it the meta is broken but how many times are us casual going to suffer because the pro complaining about things not going in their favor. Apex really need to implement a system of being able to ban certain items or legends during tournaments like you can to on ranked play in cod. That way the casual player base isn’t affected and the pro players can also be happy. I think that solution would solve a lot of issues.

Apex console is so bad for cheaters right now. The holidays have started and playstation player are running rampant with XIM and ZEN combos....the cheater issue has not improved, but only gotten worse

I rarely have a squad mate pick a support character.. you think cheating is getting better? I get blasted nearly every match. I had a match where someone was controlling two legends, same movements, shot at the same time, it was insane

I get you “wanna have fun” but go play something else that requires less skill then. Having 0 games sense, shit positioning and 0 gun mechanics and still winning a fight because the game is making up for all your incompetencies isn’t a positive thing in anyway. It breaks the competitive integrity of the game for both casuals and pros and turns it into a dead healing sim

At no point was gold knock res actually a problem, it was useless in most instances and at worst it was an inconvenience because If you can’t end a 30 health character that’s a you problem
