Derry city just got a African Mayor. The same dame that during the BLM protests called Irish people ‘Irish far right terrorists’, because they suggested American race politics be kept in America and not exported to Ireland and Uk, especially not Northern Ireland. After a 30 year sectarian civil war, the last thing they need is someone importing race hatred. She came as an asylum seeker from Kenya. Travelling on a plane full of returning holiday makers who had just enjoyed 3 weeks of holiday in the peaceful country. Her ‘election’ was so manipulated SDLP mayoral candidates that were excluded from the contest have resigned in disgust. Amazingly back in 1968, the ‘troubles’ partially kicked off as a result of election manipulation, gerrymandering and other mischief. She has announced she will earn the respect of the people of Derry. I hardly think so, considering she was shoehorned into the position and imagines BLM as the most important issue facing one of the most isolated peripheral economically deprived regions of both the Uk and Ireland. But, hey as long as everyone in Londonderry is on board with America race theory and race politics and that the people of Derry realise they will need to set aside part of their Universal credit for reparations it will be fine. 😀
Completely agree with you. This again is Shin Fein manipulation, So decent people of Derry vote them out at the next election. Winifred Thompson. Northern Ireland.

They have no documentation. They destroy their documentation on arrival. No one knows who these young men (no women or children) are. They are not fleeing persecution. ‘Last safe country’? What happened to that?
“Last safe country” was implemented in the Dublin Agreement, a EU legislation. You voted to leave the EU. You cannot claim the benefit of EU legislation. Ireland can also not request the right to send them back to the UK.
Theses are not poor refugee Men or kids fleeing war or slavery, they are Visa Anchors /Benefit seekers (family chain migration scouts) sent out and Funded by there own family to gain access to the Uk (the land of free money), when they have a visa/passport ect, the rest of the family/relatives will arrive. For every 1 that gets in today there will be 20++ other family/relative/friends waiting SAFE at home for the call to come over all expecting FREE money/house/medical/education, ...etc, they have no skills, will not work, and continue to breed like rabbits (more kids = more Benefits), when settled they will have 2+ homes, 1 here and 1 back home to rent out or use as a holiday home (the country they claim to be running away from !!), and you, your kids/grand kids will pay for this.
Until the UK and Ireland say to people arriving on their shores, “you _will_ be deported, unless you can categorically prove you are a _genuine_ asylum seeker”, then this stuff will just continue. It’s not rocket science: if I can walk into your house, and you’re not gonna do anything about it, then what do you expect?

Perhaps this would be better framed as "coming via Spain, France and then Britain" as there are two open borders/passport-free zones in play here - firstly the Schengen Zone before they even get into the Common Travel Area and the latter one wouldn't be an issue if this were better handled sooner in their journey.
