The problem is he has amazing composition but not the most complex technique and speed hence the lack of it compared to other guitarists that can play 10x more complex (not necessarily better sounding) than him
@@mazscsu yes,I have seen that most of current guitarist are like clowns in a circus, all is about who can do more stupid things even with a shitty sound
@@mazscsu Wes admitted that he's not very fast and he doesn't do extended solos for that very reason. He's a man that knows his strengths and weaknesses but still pushes himself to be GREAT in the areas where God gave him that extra talent we don't possess! Also, I commend the entire band for not letting drugs and alcohol ruin themselves, their band and their families. Good for all of L.B. I think their, dare I say wholesomeness, compared to most other bands, is why the industry really hated them deep down. They were confident, mostly pleasant, and laser focused, and totally unwilling to conform to what the "Critics" and Industry leaders wanted them to do, say and play. It has nothing to do with what happened at Woodstock and nothing to do with Fred being a jerk all of the day, well, most of the time. They would not bend so they became hated. Good for L.B.
I don’t know why but for some reason this song always reminds me of the soul of Limp Bizkit leaving the band in 2001. It’s kinda like a weird funeral to a piece of the group or something.
That image gives the song that calm vibe, art and music are amazing when done in right ways together.
Thanks for the comment. And thanks to Wes for the picture and music.
bademeister789 yo man thanks so much for pinning my comment
Had no idea! Plus the art is his, too?
Wes is such a seriously underrated and under appreciated musician he definitely deserves ten times more respect then he’s given.
How did you measure the respect he was given? I'm curious

I'm not a musician , but Wes is one of the best, for sure!

Wes is a big Inspiration for me!!!!! He is an amazing artist
Damn, Wes has soul. This is the most haunting guitar play I've ever heard. I only wish I could express myself so completely.
Agree 100% Wes gave a lot to limp Bizkit
@@kamilgruszecki6718 The sound we know as Limp Bizkit is actually Wes his guitar sound...
My 2YO won't go to bed without listening to this.
The John Frusciante of (nu)metal music.

I think this might seriously be the best song I ever heard in my lifetime. Wes is just awesome.
if you dig this, youll love frusciante's solo stuff
He gives Limp Bizkit that nice vibe. Without his guitar style, Limp Bizkit wouldn't be as famous or known as they are today.
Great song also.
Best example for that is Results May Vary.. there where just lacking his Style
Imádom lerepít egy más érzeli dimenzióba!
this is great for meditation

if you think there is only one way to meditate then then you might want to try making it more personal for you

Indeed this Genre is called Wes Borland!!!
I wish his solo albums were like this.
I agree, Wes is an amazing artist. But don't leave out Sam Rivers and John Otto. All three of them are truly incredible.
Yeah as a whole the entire band that is Limp Bizkit is pretty great.... I think you left out the driving force behind Limp Bizkit though.
@@BCaldwell DJ Lethal? He's okay but I wouldn't describe him as the driving force! ;-)
Fred too, everyone sleeps on him and acts like he's just a cocky child, but he's changed, and without him, Limp Bizkit wouldn't've been what it is
Amazing expression,Wes got his unique style.

This man's talent is infinite! A legend
one of my favorites.... love it!!
Wes is untouchable man.

As mentioned Sigur Ros, or a band called Jakob (search Jakob, Safety in Numbers for an example) could tickle your fancy.
OTRA BANDA QUE TIENE MUCHO AMBIENT DE ESTE ESTILO ES NINE INCH NAILS,EN ESPECIAL EL CD GHOST I- IV ES DE LO MEJOR.MUY VOLADO.
it reminds me of Kamasutra ...it is heavily inspired from indian classical music....HE even Toured and performed it in India !
there's an "official" version of this on spotify, but i like this version better
