When i see channels like this on you tube, they love bright bold colours as i do and not afraid to wear them, some people like me are a little eccentric. I see women look at me negatively and men too, in Paris the way i dress is excepted more so my style is a little parisan. What people don't understand or seems to me to be universally understood is that women dress for other women's approval and they only dress nicely for their long term boyfriend or spouse .This statement is true and is told by Anna Wintour and the late Carl Lagerfeld themselves. I also hear negative comments also mostly by women, or look at me with distain. They have draconian ideals about how women dress today, that is to say that they think we dress to attract the opposite sex especially if your single. This is just not true today yet most people seem to think that these days. Women dress for the approval of other women. If your a little eccentric like me it's just about celebrating fashion in all its wonderful guises.Not to attract the opposites men. If you read this article spread the word that women dress for other women's approval.
For me, clothes are a way of self-expression, first of all, I dress for myself. My body rejoices at beautiful images. And then, it's very nice when I catch other people's glances on me. And yes, only women say compliments. Perhaps men are stopped by the topic of harassment, however, this does not prevent them from throwing enthusiastic glances.
