Fridays aren’t the same without a new Alexey video! While we no doubt could spend a decade improving our cruzados walks, we miss you! Good luck with your next video!
Utterly brilliant...thank you! Had this explained in a class recently. Your Step 2 and Step 3 make the point very clearly about the action (the straight leg before the compression). The "silly" exercise at the beginning isn't silly at all...great way to get the feel of the step. Thank you!
Cruzados Walks are generally done in PP or even better, R shadow position. Thinking about Walter Laird - who put the "fundamentality" in samba technique, the timing for this - usually it is 5 actions, with the timing SSQQS or 1, 2, 1 and 2. The foot movements are usually this: forward walk lead foot, forward walk trail foot (past lead foot), forward walk with trail foot (now the new lead foot) with a check action forward to prepare for the rock, then a rock back on the trail foot, and then a rock forward on the lead foot (both rocks are in place). and then usually, if you repeat the 5-step sequence, you do it on alternate feet. Sometimes, especially in dancesport, in addition to doing it natural opposite, you can do Cruzados Walks on the same foot too. But is it possible to variate the timing of the walks to "1 2 3 'a' 4', or S S Q a Q (quarter beat timing)?
Wow, thank you so much, I am pearly appreciate your intention! right now I don't have Patreon, but after your message, I am thinking to set it up. So, thank you for your inspiration ! 🙏

Thank you very much,Alexey!
