On Friday, October 13, 1307, then French King Philip IV moved against the powerful warriors of Christ, The Knights Templars. Founded in 1118, The Knights had become very rich and powerful, so much so that Philip feared them. King Philip therefore moved against them, having many of them killed, destroying the power of The Knights. Thus, Friday the 13th was considered to be an unlucky day.
Peter Falk is referring to "An Exercise in Fatality" with Robert Conrad (1974) -- great Columbo episode.
🥰🥰🥰 Such great memories of both!
