Also testing the quality om streaming services vs ps5/xbox 4k player. If you can get a hold of something thats dosnet get copyright issues that is ofc. Bought a g7 while they were out of stock and currently they won't get any in stock until February... Unofficial date. So doubt it will take that long though, other tech stores in my country will get stock before that. But got a great deal, so had to order from them. Watching your vids makes the wait a bit more tolerable, also it makes me appreciate my monitor choice a lot more.
Fine and all but instead of Extreme WIDE you could make more of a fair preview with a Normal WIDE at the opposite angle, or just an edit to quick show them both at the opposite angle. The 21DGF being the nearest to the camera. Its already a little strange comparing 27 x 32 panels. Overall pretty good

Hello , thanks very much for the videos , I have the 27 G7 and playing at the moment on Ps4 Pro. Games I play is Apex Legends ,what would be the best settings on this monitor? Adaptive-Sync better off or on? HDR or SRS? Best picture mode ?For competitive games like fps, what would be the best settings for visual and response settings? Your input would be highly appreciated, thank you and keep up the amazing work! Thanks
If you do not get any sort of flicker with the new 1009.3 firmware then keep gsync On. Reduce frames by 4 to 236. VSYNC ON In the Nvidia control panel. VRR On in the monitor menu. This is for the lowest input lag according to blubusters. Black equalizer keep at 10 so you can see enemies in dark scenes. Lower a bit more if u need more dark view..
Great, do you notice if the Dell blacks get grey in a dark room setting, does have much IPS glow, and light bleeding? That's what I fear of IPS and low contrast.
Before the 1009.3 update gsync On would flicker... Now with the new update there is a Monitor VRR toggle that removes the flicker. It has for me and many others.. but a small few still report the same issue. It Could be they are not enabling the VRR option.
That's exactly what I did. Gonna have to RMA it tho, there's some motion blur and ghosting when the monitor feels like it. Definitely pray to the monitor deities before ordering, cause the panel lottery can be insane.

I play a lot of rpg, sports and racing. I do not play fps games. Apart from that, I also watch a lot of movies on the monitor. In your opinion, which of these 2 monitors is the best? dell or samsung?
LG27GN950 or the Samsung Odyssey G7 are my favorites depends on what u need IPS or VA. Then the S3220DGF for value and signal acceptance. Then the MSi MAG-QFD for the 4k Signal acceptance. The Dell S2721DGF is great if only at 1440p120hz.. but no 4k signal.
