Necroceros was such a solid release for an older band.

Martin has always been my favorite DM vocalist. The beginning of "Out Of The Body" is the most brutal thing ever!

Consuming Impulse and Malleus Malficarum were two Important Albums In Deutch Death-Metal, Consuming Impulse is a Timeless Classic, and a Masterpiece. I heard everything when they started Pestilence with him is such a phenomenal Time to be remembered with.

Consuming Impulse is one of the best metal albums of all time, one of the few that keeps your attention from start to finish. Cool interview 🤘

If you add the "bad ass" qualifier, I would calculate that Martin is at exactly half of his life and will live to 108.

much respect to martin for studying the history of communism. Its repeating today with covid/race/gender propaganda. I met him at MDF in 2010 but I didn't even realize it. I bummed a rolly off some guy with gray hair, said thank you. next thing i knew people were walking up to him to take photos. I only put it together the next day who he was. Had i known it was Van Drunen I would have dorked out and talked his ear off about how influential he is.

    When was this interview?
It was funny to hear him talking about that west coast tour with Skeletal Remains, I went to the Oakland show.

He said he's 54. Google says he's born in in 66 making him 57. Is this interview three years old?

You should have asked what happened between him and Mameli back in 1990. I listened through the whole thing and was hoping to hear some details around the monumental masterpiece Consuming Impulse. A bit of a let-down really.

I'm assuming this interview took place around 2020-2021 based on discussion over mandates and lockdowns.
