As a teacher, I always assumed Kristoff saying "reindeers" was a nod to the fact he was raised by trolls and didn't actually go to school (never mind the fact that he's only speaking English because of Disney magic).
It was always reindeer... but lately people say reindeers! I stick with reindeer...... make sure you both have unbrellas... it looks like rein deer 🌧️ 🤣

I’ve only been to Disney once when I was 6 and we stayed at the dolphin hotel. I remember those statues! Thanks for going over there! Fun memories 😊

The song is titled “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People”. The lyrics say, “Reindeers are better than people…” The most grammatically correct pluralization is “reindeer” but “reindeers” is sometimes listed as an alternate. (Side note: Apostrophes are never used in pluralization, only for possessives.)
Lol YES to the apostrophe rule!!! It drives me a little crazy to see apostrophes used when pluralizing. And I've never typed that verb before this moment 😂❤

Oh my gosh! Beaches and Cream is SO MUCH bigger now! It was just like a soda fountain/ice cream shop when we were there the first year. And we had "The Kitchen Sink"!!! Of course we couldn't finish it! But what fun. Such great memories. 🥰

We just got back a week ago this Sunday from our Disney trip and we stayed at the Swan! It was like a memory trip watching you guys walk through. Love it!
That Epcot resort area is our absolute favorite!! It is convenient to so much! We stay at either Beach or Yacht every year for a conference. And we just stayed at the Swan on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year and solely went to Epcot both days because it was too convenient to walk to the park during that super busy time of the year. So glad y’all enjoyed your trip!
I worked at Beaches & Cream in the early 90s when it was a very small ice cream soda shop. It’s so much bigger now!

Did you rank the Swan and Dolphin on the podcast when you did the resorts? I don’t remember it being on the lists.
My family and extended family stayed at the Dolphin. I will attest that the multiple pools were awesome. You can walk to 2 parks but we do like renting a car so we drove to a few and used the boats. It’s a nice hotel, moderate in pricing for Disney but you get Deluxe perks (Extra magic hours in the morning and at night). We loved Shula’s Steakhouse, pricey but delicious. We did have a few issues with the valet service, housekeeping, and our reservation so I’m torn about recommending the hotel because 2 of those issues were major. In fact so bad, they refunded us $$$ when we talked to the front desk. So at least they did that. The location can’t be beat but I missed the Disney magic.

I stay at the swan every October for a conference and it serves over 4000 people for that conference. I heard that it is the only hotel not owned by Disney on Disney property. True?
