If Lufthansa has a million haters, I'm one of them. If they have one hater, it's me. If they have 0 haters, I have died. If the world is against Lufthansa, I am with the world and if the world is for Lufthansa, I am against the world.
If Lufthansa has a million fanboys, I'm one of them. If they have one Fanboy, it's me. If they have 0 Fanboys, I have died. If the world is for Lufthansa, I am with the World and if the world is against Lufthansa, I'm against the World.
Ricky this video was so well made! Made it feel like I was actually there in person with you listening to you take me through a trip. I have been on a binge on your best credit card for travellers series and am gaining a ton of value from your content. Keep it up!
about 8 months ago i wrote in a comment that the 'content was delivered too fast and to slow down'... now i feel like im listening to a podcast that i never wanted to hear.... we've gone too far....
Visiting new places, using experiences I probably wouldn't directly pay retail prices for, and bringing close ones along are key for me. Unfortunately it's hard to see travel being something full time, but I'm glad I'm able to learn and dive into this space, while sharing my experiences as well.
Loving this video format! I've had the privilege to travel quite a bit thanks to all your help with miles and points. My travel style has evolved over time. We used to do 1-2 months of travelling and try to see as many places as possible. We got to see a lot but it felt a bit hectic. Nowadays, our goal is to go to one spots for 2-3 weeks and really unwind. More luxurious experiences but shorter in duration. But having multiple of these 2-3 week trips planned. I also find I'm more willing to pay for experiences now, whereas before, I would try to optimize every little thing to minimize the cost of the trip.
With my job, it's too hard to plan almost one year in advance or even 2 days before departure just to get flights using points availability. Now I just focus on making more actual money and buying actual first/business class tickets using actual cash. I try to alternative origin cities for these trips to get a better deal on first/business class tickets and use my frequent flyer miles to book shorter positioning flights to/from these origin cities.
I remember going to Easter Island in 2012, truly magical place, the entire vibe of that place feels different than anywhere I've been. I recall seeing the milky way on a clear night sky, horses running on the grass next to the ocean, small crosses instead of a big tombstone in the cemetery, those prehistoric caves and of course the Moais. It's not a place I will forget.
Hey Ricky Zhang, thank you for another entertaining travel experience. I was really impressed to reflect not just only on my traveling but my very specific travel style. What is it, that makes flying and coming around so special? is it this "feeling alive" or maybe sometimes feeling lost as well? Traveling for me is seeing gratefulness, not just in city lights and historic monuments all over the world, but also in many different faces I got to know. I study in the field of Aviation Management and are planning on doing my pilots license after graduating. For me, traveling is not only being somewhere for myself, but also bringing others along and hopefully, bringing joyful travelers like you to their destination (one day!). It is important to know that not only ones travel style changes, but the industry as well. Let´s see what the future has to offer! Best wishes from FRA Max
Travel has and is changing for me. Over 6 decades I would say it was like you were saying. A hunger to do and go everywhere as much as possible. In 2018 though I had a moment when I realized that I wanted to change its focus. Yes to content and relationship building. I would add making a deeper connection with the travel experiences you value the most and the people you meet along the way.
We have enjoyed so many wonderful experiences since discovering your channels about 24 months ago. Ramen on ANA, the Al Safwa lounge, St Regis Cairo, Anne Frank Huis, over-water villa in the Maldives, caviar and Ace of Spades champagne on Qatar first class, and so much more are directly because of the points information we gathered from you. For that we are eternally grateful. After a frenetic pace of five major trips over the last 15 month, (frenetic for us because we still work,) we are starting to question the frequency of travel and whether or not we are allowing ourselves time to appreciate these great adventures. Like you, travel will always be our thing, but our next booked travel isn't until an RTW trip starting NYE. (Stops in Istanbul, Singapore, and Melbourne for the AusOpen.) We expect that our future pace will drop to two luxurious experiences annually, still fantastic by many standards. Thank you Ricky, hope one day to do so in person on a flirst class flight.
Awesome Ricky ...this kind of content is unique and useful...there are too many avgeek that shows the same type of videos and after some time it is just boring...well done..travel safe and thank you from a revenge traveler from Singapore ❤
Ricky: I don’t fly no more!
Also Ricky: Here my new flight review!
Man, I remember he said no more flying. I'm happy he changed his mind. Love your flying contents. Please don't stop.

😂 I can feel the resentment

I think you underrate the amenity kit. The clear bag is TSA compliant and Augustinus Bader is top tier product.

Such a unique place, one that I’m sure I’ll return to in the future

Optimizing for traveling with family on points. Feel like p1 is simple, not easy.
P3,4,5 is a whole other category

Sounds amazing - thank you for sharing
You don't write too many hotel reviews anymore. Also like to read how you plan your around the world mini trip. Really enjoy reading them.
I’m really trying to make a trip to Japan or South Korea but plane ticks so expensive when is the best time to purchase without points to build up
Check out our Prince of Travel channel
Fab as always! Is the travel agency still doing the points optimization advice for around $200?
Augustinus Bader is luxury :P It's a very high end French brand.
I suppose I meant a collaboration on the bag itself 😀

Could you do the review of westjet 787 from Calgary to Tokyo or Seoul
I have to ask, has anyone been annoyed with you talking at length while sitting in first class?
Are you not worried about people telling you to keep it down when talking?
Great question, I'm usually only chatting away when people have their headphones on :)
I like the Cartoon character you are playing on your videos😉
I have flown several times Lufthansa First. Nutella is pure of sugar and palm oil. Hello?! Wake up and smell the coffee LH
Pls get a gimbal , it would increase the quality of your b-roll shots by x1000 and it literally costs $5 from temu lol
nice vid!
Youre turning 30!? Damn I thought you were like my age (25)
I thought this man flew Swiss first class I don’t know what he was talking about
What's up with the heavy breathing and lip smacking? Didn't use to do that 🥲
His health is probably going down.. don't think he air that out to the world.
A travel Channel? Critique the experience and service. I do not need a lecture on your personal life goals and philosophies

I just found this channel. I was excited to see the review. However, this felt like more like a lecture than a review. Not my jam
