- This week we invite you to brunch...on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.
We start at Cafe Envy on the Sunshine Coast where we enjoy organic coffee and a delicious whole food brunch. With full tummies, we walk across the road to beautiful Cotton Tree Beach in Maroochydore.
A couple of days later....and we're off to Billykart restaurant in West End, Brisbane. Our give-away winner 'Imogen' joins us for brunch at Billykart. After a sensational brunch and getting to know each other, we take a leisurely stroll to South Bank Parklands. It's a sunny day with barely a cloud in the sky, so Beth & Imogen take a ride on The Wheel of Brisbane.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!

That was so beautiful. I was actually nervous about watching the Brisbane part as I didn't know if it would show the flood damage. The river, apart from being brown,looked almost back to normal. But I know there is so much debris left to clear and boats etc to be cleared and I am amazed and proud at how quickly Queensland bounces back to her former beauty. I have not seen anything of the Southbank Beach of the river yet. Is is badly damaged? I see the News on RUclips and my heart breaks for all the people that had their homes and businesses damaged. You will recover Queensland 💕 and come back more beautiful than before. See you both next week and thanks for the brunch 🥙🥗🥙.
Hi Carol, there’s a lot of development going on along the river at the moment and quite a lot is inaccessible from the South Bank side. The construction work is for the Queens Wharf project. However, impacts from the flooding can still be seen in various parts of Brisbane, but we always see improvements whenever we return. We hope you have a great weekend 🌻

Cafe Envy is wonderful - such fresh healthy food and great vibe. Just back down the road heading towards Ocean Street end on the same side (if they are still there), is the Prickly Piñata. They have the most amazing food and their vegetarian nachos are next level. Thanks for the seaside to city trip.

Hi good to know about Cafe Envy. We had the most wonderful breakfast up the road at 45 The Esplanade, at Mio Spazio Cafe, one of the best breakfasts we have ever eaten out. Great service also.
