One of my favorite characters by far. She is tough, hard-working, sincere, honest, loving and.... tough. She is a breath of fresh air amid a sea of calculating deviousness.
Her father was an amazing actor! It s sad he passed at such a young age. Keep up the good work Jen! This made yellowstone more favorable to watch in my book!
I hope she doesn't leave the show. I love the character "Teeter" and Jen Landon does a great job. She is a great actress, I'm sure her father is looking down at her with pride.
Jen Landon’s character “Teeter” is my favorite character on the show along with Forrie Smith’s character “Lloyd”. Jen Landon is a gorgeous accomplished actress
“Lloyd” is underrated ASL, and had a rough season, but extremely interesting that he was pulled out of the bunk house to be Rip’s best man. After a couple weeks earlier Rip stomped TH outta the man’s hand.
The character development in the cast of Yellowstone has been phenomenal. Any program that evokes an emotional response to the characters, love ‘em or hate ‘em is doing a good job. Teeter adds a depth to the program that is provocative and wildly entertaining. I love her character as well as Cole and the misfit Dutton daughter. And clearly Kevin Costner’s best work ever.
Agree with most of what you say here, but I'll stop short of calling this Costner's best work. That accolade would go Costner as "Crash Davis" in "Bull Durham" or his other 2 baseball films.
Jen Landon is Teeter, I've never seen a character so perfectly done. If she never does anything else in her life. She'll always be "Teeter" Good Job Jen!❤❤❤
I love the Teeter character p,eased don’t get rid of her. She needs to be part of this strange group of characters that has me watching the episodes two or three times a week until Sunday. I’m hooked don’t change anything unless you add more interesting characters. Go Kevin Costner.
Teeter is excellent. Strong character on yellowstone. She makes me laugh. I loved watching her dad for years. Both are excellent in their craft of entertaining us.
Well I hope they don't leave the show ,I love watching her as Teeter , actually I think they should show more of her , she is very entertaining , I love the show and cant wait till Sunday roles around ,maybe you could feature her on 1883 just saying she has got the voice part down .
I'm not one to be into awards shows, but Jen's portrayal of Teeter is outstanding. Such a dramatic portrayal of someone 180 degrees away from the actor's persona and personality. Outstanding.
@Larry Smithart In this century, the term actor is used for both genders. Like we no longer have “stewardesses” but flight attendants. Try crawling out of your cave ok?
Cal Gal, bullshit!!!! She would still be a damn actress idiot!! Actors are guys no matter what damn time we are in, nowadays or frigging yesteryear!!! Grow up moron!!!
Yes, Michael Landon has a beautiful, gifted, talented daughter. She worked hard to get where she is today. Not on her father's name. She worked hard to get where she is today. So Teeter bring it on girl. Do what you want and take what you want. It's that simple.
One my most favorite TV characters ever!!! I've been watching TV since I was the 'remote control' and adjusted the tinfoil on the rabbit ears and she is spectacular in every scene she is in. I hope she and Taylor Sheridan can continue to use her character to reveal the complexity involved in handling a crew of "cowboys" and life in the bunkhouse. BTW, in the younger generations of my family there are several young women who could right now do the 'ranch hand/cowboy job' in real life. I grew up on a 24k acre cattle ranch and Sheridan rarely misses the mark by much.
You should write for an entertainment blog! You have a great, natural "voice" and you could make a fortune writing online. I'm a writer and you are good!! Please check out writing for bored panda as well...
The thing about her is when you first meet her, you couldn’t understand a word she said. But as the series went on they weren’t so drastic with her accent.
When I deployed during Desert Storm I worked with some Guardsmen from Cajun country. When with them we needed a translator to understand what the heck they were saying. One day a Sergeant from the RAF Regiment asked me what country were those guys from. Sounded just like Teeter.
Exceptional talent. My favorite character on the show. She's Boomhauer from King of the Hill!! I love it! "She ain't lying." That's a strong recommendation from Rip.
She’s awesome as Teeter! Now that I know that her father was Michael Landon, no wonder! I loved him on Little House On The Prairie as Charles Ingalls, Half Pint and Mary’s Pa. I love the Bonanza reruns where he was Baby Brother, Lil Joe Cartwright. Keep up the great work Ms. Landon…phenomenal!
Teeter is the Rip Wheeler of females. She is hilarious. I hope they don’t take her off the show. She is a trip! Good video! Teeter is by far one of the best of the cast!
While Teeter isn't one of the main characters in Yellowstone, She definitely fits as an integral part of the cowboy crew. She's rough, tough, hard to bluff and all that stuff. And her accent (if you can call it that) makes her unique. If she's leaving the show, I hope it's to be a part of a spin-off based on the 6666 ranch.
I believe she is going with Rip and the gang to Texas to the 4 6’s ranch for the spinoff 6666….which, is actually a Taylor Sheridan-partially-owned real ranch. All of the horses on the show (and the spin-offs) are all owned by Sheridan, as well. They’re “recycled” between shows….in 1883, there’s a prominent horse (not giving away spoilers) that you’ll see in Yellowstone and in 1923. I was curious why they all looked the same, thinking they might be using different horses in different places) but…since some of Yellowstone and most of 1883, and a portion of 1923, are filmed in Texas, the scenes where Sheridan is bringing horses to Montana to the ranch from the 6666 ranch in Texas is REAL. He’s really coming from Texas to Montana with those horses in between filming. They have the other 1883 spinoff coming out (the Bass Reeves Story, which-even as a cameo-he should’ve appeared in 1883 imo, just to set the stage for him and the intro to his story), and that story is filmed in Texas too, also using the same horses. While season 5 is on its’ mid-season hiatus, they are now filming 1883: The Bass Reeves Story and again…they’re using 6666’s horses/Sheridan’s show stunning horses. Keep an eye out when/if you watch the shows and you’ll begin to see there’s one similarity between all 4 shows: the cast of horses lol 😂 Fun fact…Keep an eye out for Cole Hauser showing up as an unknown villager(??) or random person as a cameo clip in The Bass Reeves Story. There’s a really cool and informative magazine on Yellowstone in shelves that would’ve been nice to know of before watching 1883 bc it shows who’s who and the Dutton family tree, so as you’re touring these shows, you’re curious who’s related to who and how…it’s still interesting seeing what an intricate group of shows and characters these people are and how they depict some real things, such as some events and ideologies shown in 1883 and 1923, and the Bass Reeves story is true….he was a real man and (I believe) the first Sheriff or US Marshal who was of color. Really cool things….Taylor Sheridan writes every script on his own and does all of this filming, directing, traveling, writing….I’d love to get in his mind bc there’s brilliance in there.
@@M.S.44.44 Yes,I know its a real ranch, I live in the area. My dad was acustom saddle maker [Wilford Lewis] who made every manager a saddle and visited afew times.
I love “Teeter,” she makes the bunkhouse a fun place to be. My favorite was when they were playing cards, and Carter was winning, Teeter calling him all those names. The way she rolled them off her tongue was hilarious. The name that got me rolling was when she called Carter an elf. I laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Love that girl. I hope they keep her.
*No Spoilers* Teeter is awesome and successfully survived to season 5. I don’t foresee her departure anytime soon. As for some other cool things…. Need to keep her in the show . Good addition to the series.
I LOVE Teeter's character, and Jennifer Landon plays the role perfectly!
