  • Alright guys, so a couple of days ago I was at Terminal 2 when Aer Lingus commenced their Seattle route after 2 years. Pre pandemic, the airline operated EI143 to SEA on their Airbus A330-200 variant, which the route began launching in May of 2018. During that 2 year period a lot has changed with airline having park all most of their fleets and phase out a couple of aircrafts like the B752, A321ceos, Avro Rj 85s and a few A332s.
Now in 2022, we are now seeing most of parked fleet come back into service along with relaunching of routes with Europe and the United States.
This Seattle flight had a flight number change of EI953 which will be flying 6 times on a weekly basis and this it is operated on the -300 variant instead of the -200.
Aircraft operating in this video was on the A330-302 with a registration of EI-GAJ on the lovely, old Shamrock livery. This aircraft is 5.2 years of age and had its first
flight on the 5th of May 2017.
