There are at least 8 rats by the frenzied flame tower with a grace nearby thats the easiest farm ng+9 the higher the arcane the better, normally you get 1 each time after 10 runs
It usually helps in all the soul's games to kill the enemies with a magic imbued weapon to obtain rare items. I started noticing that in demons souls. Also wearing any equipment thats magic or stealth related. Equiping a magic shiled should help too. It worked for me to get rare weapons too.
The one at the castle with misbegotten warrior is much better. Theres a room right next to a grace with like 6 rats in there. Use sacred relic sword and just run in,mhit AoW and run to the grace. Way faster than this.
@@sbguitarist I forget the name but it's deeper into the castle. You spawn in, follow the wall on the right, make a right turn and there's some stairs and a room with 4 rats inside. If you have the sacred relic sword, 1 AoW kills them all. Check for loot and run back to the grace. Takes like 20 seconds tops so you can use silver feet to boost drop rate.
U can use that starcaller cry sword spell outside the room. Turn around from the site of grace, run up to the wall, use the special, it will about 80% of the time kill everything in the room through the wall. Then run around to the door to see if anything dropped.
I think the most recent patch has nerfed* it incredibly to get rune arcs from rats because all I get are rune fragments 1’s and I use the silver pickled foot as well.
@@ThePokeOg i think I might be right, but you could check for yourself cause I am on NG+3 or 4 I believe, and drops might be nerfed because of that. But from my end, I don’t even get rune arcs from any type of rats. ( I’m level 231 )
Beside rampart Gaol works the best. Much faster with an aoe and kill everything in the room with 1 shot and repeat. With all the shit on my discovery is at 277 and I'm getting 1 to 2 rune arcs per 3 minutes I get from the silver foot. Also the silver horn tenders I picked up in the dlc give you a 60 point boost.

Yep, it doesn’t drop anything except the rune 1
This is the 6 farm im already trying with rats and im never getting drops even with the item discovery boosts
