I have a theory that sociopathy is pretty much genetic and environmental issues. It means we’re born like this way but duo abuse we went through as a childhood, we became ‘’different’’ I don’t abuse people, I just don’t feel emotionally attachments towards people feelings, it’s a blank expression. If you come up with illness, bad childhood trauma, I don’t feel their pain at all. It’s a blank expression 😶 The reason why I call myself ‘’sociopathic’’ is I know what is right and wrong, but I don’t care 🤷♂️ I also believe human nature is intrinsically evil and that deep down people only care about themselves. I belong to the high spectrum of ‘’ASPD’’ I am calm, impulsive at times, and cold, manipulative, cruel at times, sadistic as well…But I don’t harm innocent people for my own pleasure gain, not my thing. Why would I invest my emotions someone else when I don’t give a shit about that person? 🤷♂️ Every person is different oriented, every person has different character structure. Besides, I feel empathy for my brother, sadness, if something happens to him. Emotions are still there but more muted. Are there bad sociopaths? Definitely yes. It’s pretty much genetic 🤷♂️ you have it in you or not….Have a lovely day.

That's good you are looking into it now. Sorry that happened, that sounds terrible. My ex was adopted and his mom just left at age 9 or 14, she just left. It fucked him up and he had BPD. We both did drugs. Something changed in me at 14-15. It was spooky. I just.. I stopped caring so much, It went away fully at 19 (my caring). Some elements are nice, however it is hard to relearn how to fit into society. I believe that if my mom wasn't to be blunt "a fucking bitch" and my home life wasn't so toxic and my dad had not acted like a pussy I might of been guided. Instead I guided myself *and did not realize I was a child*. Idk if that info is important, but I had a convo w/ my therapist and described a fight w/ my mom and admitted I yelled. She pointed out I was a child and it clicked Id viewed myself as equal to adults for.. for a long time. And I took things upon me. I couldn't handle them and used drugs to cope. It was bad. I got off heroin when my mom kicked me out and long story short I really truly believe even if something turned in me it could of been steered way differently had I had any guide other than myself *WHO WAS CONSISTENT AND TRUSTWORTHY.*
I'm a sociopath, it happened later as a teenager. I do have empathy, and a strong empath. I just can't understand what I pick up from people. I have prefer to be left alone, most people aren't useful here. I live in a tiny town, and a bunch really stupid, broke, people.

I think my friend group and first love leaving me made me a sociopath, i don't really care about anyone anymore and i just don't get attached to people like i used to. I noticed this especially at work today. Coworker tried being friendly and i felt the beginnings of joy start to form before i literally felt my body react and push that emotion away for nothing in return. I've unconsciously hardwired myself to not get attached anymore.

My Dad was a sociopath. A very sick cruel man. I have been diag'd with CPTSD thanx in large part to him. There was so much of the list in my family. How much different would my life have been if I had known these things. Is it not sad that I am grateful my Dad is dead? Another sad note is it appears my sister has grown up to be just like him. Family cutoff? Done. I refuse to put up with this kind of behavior any more.
