Great video! I feel that M Bison’s theme Sign from Capcom vs SNK 1 will really suit Ed in a future video. In Capcom vs SNK 1, before you fight M Bison you face Balrog. I think it’s really fitting imo

Momochi's Ed is just too insane. I have been putting some hours into the character and a lot of the stuff his doing is absolutely ridiculous.
4:16 insane to evade the fireball and still be at the proper spacing to whiff punish into super there
Just begin SF6 whit Luke but some trouble to master combos then after seen this video i tried Ed and omfg i love it and combo like momochi video i can do them easily and Ed look so badass !!! Come on need to be better on neutral now.

Ed definitely looks like he's going to be the best melee character in the game for sure.
I hear though that he gets murdered by Shotos, he doesn't have anything to nullify a solid projectile game?
Does he have a deflect before he activates his fireball, or is he just stuck using parry? I hear his jump arc is awkward as well, which is why a good Ryu or Ken can keep him out.
The first part of his fireball nullifies other fireballs, then he can send out his own. He wins most fireball wars.
@@Switcheroo4542 Then the only thing I can think of for why people are saying he's bad against Shotos, is that his jumping attack is not good enough.
Presumably he doesn't have a cross up either.
@@Longlostpuss He technically gets a crossup but it's the worst in the game.
Totally disregarding his shirt normals. His jab range is atrocious and his medium low gets beaten by almost every other character. This essentially turns him into a strike, throw character with good oki due to his snatcher. But I would hardly call him the best meleew when he absolutely hates to be close range and prefers to control the midrange where flickers outrange melee and di or where his fireball can punish other fireballs.
