- March 12th, we took a little tour of San Antonio. Just some of the many things to do in the area. What you see here is a short piece of the River Center Mall, along with the renowned River Walk. We then took a Carriage ride through town, down through Alamo Plaza, and the world famous Alamo. How many of you have had the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of San Antonio?

I would love to live there too. I consider it the Crown jewel of Texas.

I live in San Diego, CA right now. It's nice here and very beautiful but my home is Texas and San Antonio is where most my family is at. I miss the friendly folks there, the awesome Tex-Mex food and MAN... the BBQ's!!!... can't wait to move back next year.
I love Spurs and city San Antonio as well, i am from Bosnia, and i hope i will get a chanche to go to most beautiful city in the world! Viva la Texas!

One of the nice things about San Antonio is that it doesn’t look like every other American city with similar glass buildings. Most U.S. cities look the same. S.A. looks more European and historic. The river walk is a very nice touch. Especially with all the restaurants and shops along it’s banks and a mall too boot. Now if they can just get an NFL team.
I am so homesick for San Antonio! I haven't been there in years, but I hope to go back someday soon!!
I went to San Antonio on July 17, and wow i fall in love with it and its people, including turists.
I mean it is beautiful, the riverwalk is amazing, and even better on summer friday nights, where Riverwalk is full of people and turists... full!!!!!
And you know what i like the most, the people in there, friendly, really friendly wiith the intention of meeting people, maybe from another country or city.
I met a girl and his sister in the mirror puzzle i guess, near ripleys, and wow!
And no not everyone here is over weight. Im 31, 5'6 and weigh 115. San Antonio is my home and a great place to raise a family. :)

Don't let one bad experience change your mind forever about the people here. We are friendly folk. We help each other out. Yes we do have our gangs and dirtbags but what can you expect Its close to ghetto neighborhoods on the southside. Check out the northside of town. I used to live in PA for a year and strangers looked at you wierd for holding the door open for them or giving a friendly smile. They would just look at you crazy if you were walking down the street and said hello with a smile.

yeah all the taquerias and stuff are good food.
Those placards are on the long barracks, stating that James Bowie, William Barrett Travis, Davy Crockett and others were members of that fraternity.
Randy Madden explain fraternity please. I am well versed in my Texas history (although rusty) and this is the first time in my 60 years I have ever heard the heroes of the Alamo having part in a fraternity. C'mon! Educate me! 😊

Heck yeah I think with my stomach... LOL. But anyway... San Diego is nice... but San Antonio surpasses it in it's great cultural beauty in my opinion, so there ya go. I clarified it for ya. :-D Have a good day... wish I was home already.

Mi Tierra is good food (my favorite is Green Enchiladas/Enchiladas Verdes) ... but trully, just about anywhere you go in SA, it's awesome Mexican food... Just Stay away from the national food chains if you want Authentic food! (Say No to Taco Bell, On the border, etc)... go to a li'l "greasy spoon" hole-in-wall and you're bound to be happy with food!
I have never been to San Antonio or Fort worth the only Texas towns I been to are Waskom Marshall Longview Tyler Dallas Houston and Allen .

This girls were screaming out loud in the puzzle, and fuck yea we talk all the way to the exit, its amazing meeting new people, and know their story, yup i admit i liked the big sister, she wa really beautiful, but since i entered with my sis, things went to fast, and i didnt asked for her name :/. Really, was a great story, i am planning to go alone, later, maybe when 18, cause right now i am 16 years old. I wanna move to San Antonio, i just look back to mexico, and doesnt feel the same.
Lies!!! Every one is rude! Over weight! I just came from down town a while ago and I saw one guy laying in the street knocked out some guy fighting another guy rude people and most of all cops did nothing
