- Hollow is the second song off our next batch of songs under Volume 2 - S T R A T O.
Hollow is one of the darkest songs we’ve written. The lyrics feel like a letter but it’s not intended for any one person. It’s an insight into the mind of someone who feels so void of love and happiness that to leave this world feels like the only way to end the pain for yourself and for those around you. The way the song ends is a personal favourite as it encompasses the story of the song into two sentences with multiple voices, “it’s too late to change, it’s too late to stay,” as if to emulate the many ways it can feel heard in your mind. It’s a heart breaking song but I hope it reminds people who’ve felt similar that they’re not alone. Josh!

As an OG fan and someone who loved Ground Dweller sound, I am telling you guys to explore this particular sound more. Might be a complete style change from your early days but that emotion that drives the music is here in this sound.
I dont think theyll ever top anon. And that album before it had some great stuff too. This is mid tho

I seen them like 10 years ago, touring Unimagine and fck I loved that album.
Ground Dweller was my introduction to HLH, and my gateway into Post-Hardcore in general. I would love a return to that sound as well.
This song is "fine", but it along with a bunch of their recent stuff has a sleepy lethargy to it that i'm just not connecting to.
Thud sucks compared to ground dweller.. i don't even recognize the band

From the recent HLH songs this is the one that stuck in my head and I like it. The new vocalist sounds different and there is nothing wrong with it - he fits the song perfectly

Personally, heavens been my favorite vocal performance from Josh, but this sound and 24 hours are so perfect for his vocal tonality!
