By no means a fail! I can only imagine how difficult it was, especially on the east side of the island which seems quite inaccessible. I'm shortly moving to Hayling so was absolutely fascinated by every minute of this! Well done!!
Magnificent snapshot by drone. Just shows what one can do with today's technology. I love Hayling, lived there 50 years. Music was perfect for this. Thank you.
What an amazing view! We have our yacht o Hayling Island but I've never seen whole island, for sure not from this perspective. Thank you for this special tour.
Despite your concerns I found it a facinatinating piece of work. I bet it took a long time to do. For me, this is incredible as I have never seen the island displayed like this and it shows the large sections where there is no easy public access. Ten out of ten for me.
Many thanks John- I hope to revisit the areas where the tide was out and piece together a better video with the coastline showing up clearer. Grad you liked it :-)
Just read the info, my mobile phone does not give me access to all the info, but nevertheless its a great film, well shot, good height etc. There are flaws exposure, continuity but well done great stuff. I enjoyed watching as I haven't been able to access all of Haylings beautiful coastline in the 40 years I've lived here & I feel you have done a brilliant job of doing exactly that. Maybe some music and narration :-)
great flight, especially the Ferry Boat saw where we use to catch the ferry to go out on the trawler loved those days, awesome brings back memories, i have a Phantom 4 drone but up here in the country the only thing interesting is the magic roundabout i find it hard to find something interesting to see? Great well done awesome
you can walk along some of it - but its not connected - you have to come in from the village accross a field -it leads to private residence so there is no link - the Mengum sailing club has a good walk from their location and there is a public path right through it.
Hi there. I have been looking for aerial footage of the old WWII 2 locations to use in a digital tour I am putting together about the WWII Hayling Heritage Trail. Specifically, the shots over Eastoke. I will be composing the tour for the benefit of Heritage Open Days, a free yearly community festival held nationally. This year will be Havant's first event as part of the Heritage Open Days family. Could I please ask for your permission to use some of this footage within that tour please? Full credit for the footage will be given at the end of the tour.
I wouldnt call it a fail at very best its just a continuity issue the footage is first class i just watched it all havin forgot my ps4 was even on . I lived on hayling for many years both on boats in langstone harbour and on island. I see they took the 4 visitors moorings away by the pub down from slipway our boat did destroy one in the 80s dragged it near enough out the harbor the harbor master wasnt pleased. If you want to try it with 2 drones it would work better then . I am commercial tho so yu can tag on my insurance for the day then you can fly where yu need to i also have radio coms for us so we can coordinate flights im currently attatched to the drone unit of helecopter film services at pres hopefully that will be done very soon as im shooting scenes at mo really really boring being shouted at all day :):) . If your still flying and interested in fixing something up in the fall of this year comment back up and we can go from there

@@Vass881234 Thank you ☺️🙏
brilliant family lives down there and we always love exploring the island

Beautiful video of our beautiful island, thank you Mark, loved it. We are so lucky to live here.
It's good to be reminded that there is still so much natural space on Hayling. Long may it stay that way!
Thank you, Vass!

Have just viewed this and think it's wonderful, so good to see areas we have no access to, thank you for doing it
(This is from Jaynee Oxley - Bill Oxleys wife).I enjoyed the trip around the Island, thank you Vass. :) (and wishing you a very Happy New Year)! :)
Bill Oxley thank you Jaynee, i hope to create a better one this year :-)
The water at high tide looks beautifully clear - I had no idea it was like that!
Excellent. Really enjoyed that video. It was nice to see my home island from a different perspective. Thank you. 👍👌👏
Vass. Thanks for the great footage, really enjoyed it.

Absolutely brilliant, dont be so hard on yourself. Fantastic and loved all of it.
You can study maps and look at goggle earth but this gives another dimension to seeing the coast. Well done, great video 👍😃🍺
Enjoyed that! Thank you! I love hayling island. Had a boat at Northney.

Does anyone know if you can walk around the north coast? Seen around ~4:00

Hey Vass, Brilliant work, I have enjoyed watching and you have captured almost every corner of it. Do you live there?
RK Vlogs yes:-)
another good one would be follow the Hayling Billy Line from Havant to west town
It's not so easy with half covered in trees, I have done a Billy video, it's a choice between fly low through it, or high over it
How did you fly around the island and keep VLOS at all times as there are no footpaths on the East side of the island ?
Its a series of 16 videos stitched together and special permission was sought for areas with no public access thanks for your interest
What drone was it filmed with and whats your new one?
Great video, just found the music a bit intrusive. Solved the problem by muting the TV.
Totally agree, its not the orignal music, YT pulled that due to copyright, i really need to re record this
i was born hayling island
Not your fault.
Thumbs down for no fail !
ha! cheers Mark :-) HNY !
